Theme: THE REASON WHY WE SHOULD GATHER

AS CHURCH

Text: Romans 12: 1-21; Hebrews 3: 7-14; 10: 24-25

Summarizing these three verses, it should be noted that spiritual gifts that are
our capabilities are such that we must be humble to God, identifying the
needs of each other and fulfill our duty to each other.
When we come together as a church, the Holy Spirit takes place in our midst
and convince us of sin, righteousness and judgment. The Holy Spirit takes
place in the heart of everyone and reveals to everyone barriers between God
and man. The duty of the Holy Spirit is to convince the attitudes and lives of
sins that are obstacles between God and man so that we may live righteously.
Added to a life of righteousness, He will show you the judgment of God who
is every kind of life that rises against God and his punishment. No wrath of
God comes without the Holy Spirit has convinced us beforhand.
If we gather and the voice of God comes, you can either accept or ignore it.
Ignoring information is listening but not considering it, refuting what the
Holy Spirit told you, failing to honor the Holy Spirit.
If man rejects the Holy Spirit, his heart becomes hardened: a heart that is
neither alive nor dead. In all that the Holy Spirit tells you, it comes out of
your will to accept or reject it: in the latter, the heart of the person in question
is hardened.
A hard heart is characterized by a person who no longer listens to the voice
of God: every word of God resounds in her ears like I already know that;
thus, the work that must be the word of God is lost. One consequence is that
the fruit that must bear the spiritual life of that person is no more. The fruit of
the Spirit is love, joy, peace, goodness..... And it is the Holy Spirit who produces it in you in accordance with the communion that you have with him. If
the fruit is no longer in the life of a Christian is a sign of a hardened heart.
Our duty towards each other is to admonish one another. Being together, God
has given everyone a measure of faith, an individual gift, and everyone is a
potential source of exhortation of his neighbor. Encourage each other in small
things or to the extent that has been dealt to everyone. Tell a loved one that
God encourages you, you are blessed is an exhortation we do. Just little
words encourage and give strength to the neighbor.
When we gather in the house of God the work of the service is done. The
Apostle Paul made it clear that we are one body: someone's ear, another the
eye, another the foot, for others it is the hand.... And where one member of
the body is sick, then the whole body is sick.
As a saint, we must admonish one another so that everyone move forward in
the walk of faith. This will do that we will have the strength to move forward.
The walk of faith is such that a single person leads to the victory. Each one
must be persevering in the faith he confessed that Jesus is Lord and Savior
whatever the situation happens.
If you put yourself aside, there is a wind that will take you and you risk to
neglect Jesus. Without a real exhortation, we may live like the world.
In urging the importance of the faith, we will confirm the teachings of Jesus
and the apostles. In times and difficult times through which this world, we
must keep our meeting at the church to be a strengthening of faith in the
teachings of Jesus and the apostles. We cant take part of these kinds of
teachings by staying at home: if you put yourself aside, you risk being exposed to the storm of life.
In our gatherings, we urge for the living hope that we have. This world cant
give you hope, but Christ is the hope that we keep; that hope is that if Jesus
comes, we will be with him. There are certain decisions if we make them
alone are dangers to our lives. Beloved, we are nothing as human being; let
us not consider ourselves. Let us permit that the life of the Spirit which humbleness and the love of the neighbor may fill us. This year, we are walking as
one body, one family, with the same heart and the same though. Its a year of
humble spirit.
