process for continuous development of community and the society through
regional, national and international levels in the world.

2) Reflect on a time when you challenged a belief or idea. What

encouraged you to act? Would you make the same decision again?
I remember that long time ago, when I was about 13 years old, there was a
authoritarian headmaster, she was a nun.
At the school, I had three
classmates who were very undisciplined and because of that she decided to
expel them. They were good students, but unfortunately they didnt like to
follow some silly rules, that is to say, not to chew chewing gums in class, wear

the skirt under their knees and bottom up the blouse completely. At that time,
nobody was brave enough to say something to be against her decisions. But,
as I considered unfair their removal, I leaded a campaign for accepting them
again.
My classmates and I decided no to attend class until the headmaster accepted
to have a meeting with us. She used to regret meetings with students.
Because of that little strike, we were received by her and could to talk to her.
At first, she was not willing to listen to our demands. But we were convinced
we had the reason.
Finally, my classmates could return to class and the our rules were checked by
both students and authorities at school.
I was encouraged to act since I believe in justice, tolerance and common sense.
I would make the same decision again and again.
