What we do in UTH in the IT matter?

In UTH the IT academy is centered in the TICS career, which stands for
Communication and Information Technologies, conformed of two main IT areas,
Information Systems (Software Development) and Computer Networks. In the

General Goal

The alumni should structture the solution for specific
problems, by the use of algorithms designs, using
expressions and control sentences.
To apply POO technology, to manage information processes
in organizations.
To develop and apply information automatization with POO

The alumni World have the fundations to design and apply
data bases.
The alumni would apply POO fundamentals, PSP and UML,
to perform Object Oriented Analisis and Design.
The alumni should be able to perform software developing in
graphic environments, with database access, so that the
visual environment is controlled.
Give to the alumni the tools that allow them to develop
software with databases that assure security, integrity and the
optimal data exploitation.
Introduce the existing methodologies in the software industry
of Project quality assurance. Develop the students abilities
for auto measure and auto evaluate his own software
processes.
The student World be able to manage dinamic data
structures for software developing using POO.
Design, develop and implement Web sites for businesses
as a mean of information organization and promotion.
The alumn World know advanced programming models using
POO, so that he can be able to develop desktop, console and
web (and mobil) software.
To know and apply diverse software develop methodologies,
and integrate them with OOP, UML, and software assurance
quality methods like PSP.
The student will know the definition, structure, philosophy and
caracteristics of the UNIX OS; and its differences and
analogies with DOS OS. The student will know the definition
and caracteristics of a process, also, Hill know and apply the
process control commands, the differents shell types; and
also learn how to run softwares in second plane and its
control commands; also, the student will know and apply the
I/O directioning and pipeline.

could be several, but the professors want to promote for the beginning of this
collaboration these ones:

So, we are committed for professionalism, collaboration and productivity. Also, we can
discuss these or other projects that you could have in mind, or modify some of the
characteristics of the areas and opportunities presented here.

An approach to the UTH TICS infrastructure


We actually have two areas that were constructed in particular for software developing.
These are composed of 25 alumni computers, with plenty HD, wireless internet
connection, and IDEs, database, graphic design, and offimatics software installed.
Also these rooms have a interactive blackboard, a polycomm conference videocam.
Besides, we have two robusts server for applications hosting and publication, or
virtualization.
What is our collaboration proposal?

The use of Moodle to integrate inter institutional groups of students and teachers, so
subjects of the courses (parallel similar courses in both institutions) are discussed
and problems solved by very different and constructive ways of life, culture and
professionalism.

The conforming of specific developing groups that can work together in software
developing projects.

o In Communications Security and performance.

Conform inter institutional collaboration projects, that provides new ways of


communication, or establish these ones between institutions.

Conclusion

In our institutions, we have so many talents that in collaboration and synergy can
make so many successes.
Everyone wins collaboration, knowledge and experience.
The students and teacher would be preparing for international outsourcing strategies,
for application in each own environment, or even in collaboration.
The productivity and technology factors are stronger than language, distance and
cultural barriers.
The communication bonds can be created without a penny spend, using Moodle, or
other open platforms.
