Effects of Word of God in our life

A. Initial Effect of Gods Word:

1. Faith [Romans 10:17]
Gods Word produces faith, in turn, is directly related to Gods Word because faith is believing
and acting upon what God has said in His Word.
2. The New Birth [James 1:18 ,1 Pet 1:23]
Gods Word received as incorruptible seed into a believers heart, produces the new birth- a
new spiritual nature created within the believer and called in the Scriptures the new man.
3. Spiritual Nourishment [1Pet 2:1-2,Mat 4:4]
Gods Word is the divinely appointed spiritual nourishment with which the believer must
regularly feed the new nature within him if he is to grow into a healthy , strong, mature

Here are revealed the three elements of victory: the blood, the Word, our
testimony. The blood is the token and seal of Christs finished work upon the
cross and of all that this makes available to us of blessing and power and
victory. Through the Word we come to know and understand all that Christs
blood has purchased for us. Finally, through testifying to that which the Word
reveals concerning the blood, we make Christs victory over Satan real and
effectual in our personal experience.
