Our Strategy

PT. Steelforce Indonesia (SFI) wants to play a vital role in the world of steel
services in a respectful, client focused and effective way.
To achieve this, we use our broad and premium network to connect suppliers,
(financial) partners and customers all over the world. And with our in-depth

product and market knowledge, we control every link in the chain, aiming at
developing long term relationships with our stakeholders.

1974: Promatex is established in Antwerp. Focus: supplying steel all


over the world.

1989: Current management takes over Promatex. The new company


focuses its activities on Europe, Africa and Latin America. As the group
expands, certain markets are allocated to sister companies and

Promatex concentrates on sales to Africa.

1994: Ferromex is set up to cater, in the first instance, for South-East


Asia and India. Later on the Middle East, Turkey and the Far East
followed.

2002: - Compansid (established in 1950), active in Latin America and

the Caribbean, joins the Group.


- Promafercom, with offices all over the world, takes control of Promatex,
Ferromex and Compansid.

2005: Ferromex Middle-East, operating from Dubai and Promafercom Asia


operating from Hong Kong and with an office in China, are created.

2006: - The group acquires a significant participation in Steel-Link B.V., a


Dutch steel trading-house, which strengthens the Group's global market
position.
- With the establishment of Steelforce Europe nv in April, the Group will also
be more present in the European Union and the CIS countries.

2006: Steelforce is the new name for Promafercom and its subsidiaries
Promatex, Ferromex, Compansid and all the other recently established
companies. Steelforce stands for one vision, one approach and one aim.
Worldwide! As a global player, Steelforce sets up clear geographical

departments to consolidate its transparent and uniform structure.

2007: The company structure simplifies even more. Steelforce NV now


combines all activities on the American, Asian and African continent.

2008 : Incorporation JV Singapore

2011 : Established PT. Steelforce Indonesia

1. Import handling :
Fast in speed, quality, legally and trusted are the result of a perfect combination of fine tuning of details,
teamwork and the best possible coordination of all processes. The aim of our innovations and
individualized services is to simplify import processes and thus deliver faster to its destination.
Even before landing of the imported goods we have
it monitored already as manifestation data has been
loaded electronically in our system. Simultaneously,
it is being registered with the customs system.
We are able to offer guaranteed delivery times for
import freight due to streamlined processes.
A standard transfer e.g. takes two weeks after cargos
arrived. If needed, we handle freight within a period
of one week as a so-called quick delivery.

Standard Nasional Indonesia (SNI) arrangement :


SNI or Indonesian National Standard is the only standard or directive nationally applicable in
Indonesia. Based on the WTO code of good practice, the SNI standard was first drafted by the
technical committee and then defined by BSN (National Standardization Agency of Indonesia). The
standard is now required reading for most manufacturers around the world especially for those
manufacturers, companies and exporters who want to exports their products to Indonesian
Market. Products which are intended to be distributed in Indonesia must be approved for its compliance
against the SNI Standards, otherwise the products could not enter Indonesian Market. The main
objectives of the application of SNI directives and approval are to ensure the quality of imported
products, provide competitiveness of Indonesian products and to ensure that the consumers are
protected.
