1. Independent AC system - ACSU (use at Office)
2. Centralized AC system - Chiller (use at Mall)

ACSU - (splits unit)

A split air conditioner consists of two main parts: the outdoor unit and the indoor
unit. The outdoor unit is installed on or near the wall outside of the room or space that
you wish to cool. The unit houses the compressor, condenser coil and the expansion
coil or capillary tubing. The sleek-looking indoor unit contains the cooling coil, a long
blower and an air filter.

How Centralized AC system works.

a)

A chiller is a machine that removes heat from a liquid via a vapor-compression

or absorption refrigeration cycle. This liquid can then be circulated through a heat
exchanger to cool equipment, or another process stream (such as air or process
water).

b) Cooling Tower
Cooling towers are used in central air conditioning systems. The function of the
cooling tower is to cool the warm water from the chiller condenser. Following the
central air conditioning system cycle, the heat from the rooms in a building is
transferred to chilled water, which is then transferred into the refrigerant, and finally
to the cooling water. The cooling tower is at the final point of the heat transfer.

AHU unit (Air Handling Unit)

An air handler, or air handling unit (often abbreviated to AHU), is a device used
to regulate and circulate air as part of a heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning
(HVAC) system. An air handler is usually a large metal box containing a blower,
heating or cooling elements, filter racks or chambers, sound attenuators, and dampers.
Air handlers usually connect to a ductwork ventilation system that distributes the
conditioned air through the building and returns it to the AHU. Sometimes AHU
discharge (supply) and admit (return) air directly to and from the space served without
ductwork.

d) FCU (Fan Coil Unit)

A Fan Coil Unit (FCU) is a simple device consisting of a heating and/or cooling
heat exchanger or 'coil' and fan. It is part of an HVAC system found in residential,
commercial, and industrial buildings. A fan coil unit is a diverse device sometimes
using ductwork, and is used to control the temperature in the space where it is
installed, or serve multiple spaces
