Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics AS

Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics AS is a privately held international


operating logistics service provider, headquartered in Oslo and
specialised in shipping.
WWL was founded in 1999 and is the result of a merger of the operating
shipping activities of its two owners Wallenius Lines of Sweden and Wilh.
Wilhelmsen ASA of Norway.
There are two divisions to WWLs corporate structure, the WWL
Landbased Organisation (LBO) with more than 5,200 employees and
WWL Ocean with over 700 employees. The LBO was founded in order to
support the ocean service and to offer integrated logistics solutions to the
customer base, which consists of original equipment manufacturer
(OEM) of automobiles, other rolling equipment such as trucks or
excavators and static cargo, e.g. rail cars, power generators and mining
equipment.
Nowadays, WWL has offices and agents all over America, Asia, Europe,
Middle East and Africa and Oceania. In total, WWL has 6,700 employees
who work in 28 countries.
Over the past years the total income has decreased from 2086 mln. EUR
in 2012 to 2308 mln. EUR in 2015.
The WWL service portfolio offers a wide range of services along the
outbound supply chain. This includes ocean transportation, inland
distribution, terminal services, technical services and supply chain
solutions

creates value through sustainable and optimized shipping and logistics

- The current or pending legislation
- Renewal of the fleet and customer buy in to green trade and green
supply chain concept
They are not prescriptive of specific methods or technologies so that the
owners in cooperation with WWL must verify practical solutions, timing
and costs.
Furthermore, WWL as environmental frontrunner, is working to decrease
the environmental impact of their activities and to reduce the use of
energy and natural resources per transported product.
