Cristina Silva Ferreira

Introduction
Hello, I am Cristina Silva Ferreira a senior at El Capitan High School. I am a very
outgoing and achieving person, I have many goals to accomplish in life. I am fluent
in both english and spanish and am currently learning japanese. I plan to go to
college a major in the Department of World Languages.
Life is like reading a manga, you need to keep going

Strengths And Weaknesses

My weaknesses as a student : Math is one of my most weaknesses, and getting
a lot of homework assigned is also one of my weaknesses as a student. There are
times where I can seem to fit everything within my schedule.
My Strengths: I am a very positive person no matter the situation. I try to get
through things with a positive attitude that is what keeps me going.
Overcoming my weakness: There has been many times where I have overcome
my weakness as a student. I took math support so that I could understand better
and it helped and I always try to finish my work no matter what as a student.

Activities and Hobbies

Activities: I am involved in the FIDM Fashion Club at school where we
encourage students to express themselves through our club with fashion.

My hobbies would be reading,drawing, and just listening to music

MY interest is the Japanese culture and their language.
The talents that I have would be drawing, I am very good at drawing and
learning to languages
FIDM has benefited me to become more outspoken and get to know new
people and be more involved in school activities.

Volunteer and Work Experience

Volunteer Experience: I have volunteered many times at Murphys Creek
Theater, as a bartender only not selling alcohol.
Employment Experience: I have worked at two previous jobs and am currently
in one. I worked in Morelia, Mexico at a mini market, at Mcdonalds in Angels
Camp, CA and I am right now in Pizza Hut in Merced.
These experiences have made me grow as a human being, they have made me
independent of myself and a hard worker.

Accomplishments

Perfect attendance last year 2015-2016

Motivations
What motivates me as a student would be my parents, they are hard working
people and they give me the strength to keep moving forward.
As an employee what motivates me is the ability to gain experience through any
job work it benefits me in the future.

Part 2: Where am I Going?

Career Path: I am interest in The Department Of Language and Literature, and I
am also interested in becoming Medical Nurse Assistant.
The Department of Language interest me because I have always been fond of
learning new cultures and languages.
And becoming a Medical Nurse Assistant interest me because I love helping out
people.

Short Term Goals

Graduate El Capitan High School with a 3.25 or Higher

Find better part time Job
Get enrolled in College
Buy a Car for transportation

Long Term Goals

The Goals I expect to accomplish 10 years from now:

Have a secure professional job

Have my own place to stay
Be successful and happy
Have my own car
Back through Japan and Canada

Part 3: How do I Get There

Ways ive prepared myself for the future:

Ive taken the classes I need to graduate

I have found a part time job to help me wiith some money
I have planed for the future

My experience through high school has made me grow up so much and prepared
me for the real world once I graduate.

Future Preparations
What I am doing at the moment to grow as a student and person is working and
doing my best in school. This has helped me growth as a person because it shows
me the responsibilities there is in life. And how much work it takes to not give up

Part 4 Conclusion
Reflection: I feel I am very prepared to pursue my goals, I am ready for anything.
I believe that believing in myself and not giving up is going to lead me where I
want to be.

Final Thought
I Cristina Silva am ready for college and whatever is out there for me. I have
gained so much experience these past four years and I feel I am ready for the real
out and my career.
