TO BE MECHANICALLY FIXED FOR REROOFING WORKS

SCR ALLIANCE is a resilient roofing

underlay, designed to be fastened to the
substrate whether it is steel deck concrete,
wood or plywood.
Re-roofing works
Removal of the existing roofing system no
longer required.
Possible to link the new system
safely to the old system.
The fixing method has two major
advantages:
- ishower proofing
- semi-independent installation.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION
Mechanically fixed underlay for self-protected inaccessible roofs, for reroofing, slopes 1 %.
Application over the old waterproofing system on the
following decks : steel, wood and wood derivatives,
concrete and cellular concrete.

INSTALLATION

SCR ALLIANCE

The system consists of the SCR ALLIANCE underlay,

mechanically fixed to the substrate, upon which is fully
torched, with staggered or crossed overlaps, one of the
following cap sheets:
- PARADIENE 40.1 AS/GS (Fire rating T 30/1).
- PARAFOR 30 AS/GS.
- PARAFOR SOLO AS/GS.
- PARAFOR SOLO FE (Fire rating T 30/1).
- PARADIAL S, VERCUIVRE S or VERINOX S
(Fire rating M 1) only on rigid wooden boards.
It is advisable to torch the lapped joints of the SCR
ALLIANCE underlayer for temporary rain protection,
awaiting application of the cap sheet.
The installation shall be according to the CSTB
Agrement Certificate (reroofing).

Composition
- SBS elastomeric bitumen binder: 1.600 kg/m2.
- Non woven polyester: 150 g/m2.
- Polypropylene film: 10 g/m2.
Size & Weight
- Thickness: 2 mm. - Rolls: 20 m x 1 m. - Weight: 37 kg.
PARADIENE 40.1, cap sheet:
- SBS elastomeric bitumen membrane, mineral granule finished, complying with Paradiene CSTB
Agrement Certificate(2).
- Thickness: 3 mm at selvedge - Fire rating T: 30/1.
PARAFOR 30 AS/GS, PARAFOR SOLO AS/GS are
also suitable cap sheets (see product data sheets).

SCR ALLIANCE SYSTEM ADVANTAGES

Fast reroofing without first removing the old waterproofing.
Easily fixed to the deck.
Substantial tear resistance due to strong reinforcement.
High resistance to cracking and puncturing.
Eliminates the risk of blistering.
Absorption of deck movement due to the semi
independant mechanical fixing.

ACCESSORIES
Mechanical fixings:
SCR washer and flat head screw, (EVF self tapping/self
drill screw for steel and wood decks) from ETANCO
company or similar.
Washer diameter 70 mm, complying with DTU 43.3(1)
and fixing (screw, or screw + sleeve) suitable for deck.
Studs and whashers HEMA 40 x 80 (LR ETANCO) on
aerated concrete.
