RailwayStationwiththeunlimitedandhighspeedWiFiconnectivityfreeof
cost.
AspartofDigitalIndia,theRailwayshavestartedtheprocessofprovidingWiFi
connectivityatthemajorrailwaystationsinthecountry.Thefacilitystarted
workingattheMangaluruCentralRailwayStationonSeptember10,andat
KozhikodeonSeptember29.MangaluruJunctionStationwouldgetthefacility
underPhase2oftheproject.Thereare27WiFiaccesspointsatMangaluru
CentralRailwayStationcoveringtheentirestation,includingreservationcounter,
platformsandwaitinghalls.
AccordingtotheRailTelwebsite,theWiFihasbeencommissionedin67railway
stations,ofwhich,thefacilityhasbeenformallylaunchedin32stationsTheyare
MumbaiCentral,Churchgate,Bandra,BandraTerminus,DadarWR,DadarCR,
KharRoad,Kalyan,LokmanyaTilak,Bhubaneswar,Guwahati,Patna,Ranchi,
Raipur,Lucknow,LucknowJunction,Jhansi,MughalsaraiJunction,Gorakhpur,
Allahabad,Ujjain,Bhopal,Jabalpur,Jaipur,Tirupati,Tiruchchirappalli,Ernakulam
Junction,Kacheguda,Vijayawada,Visakhapatnam,ThrissurandChennaiCentral.
TheWiFihasbeensoftlaunchedin35stations.TheyareSealdah,Kharagpur,
Puri,Cuttack,HazaratNizamuddin,Dehradun,Kanpur,Mathura,Chandigarh,
Amritsar,Pune,Byculla,Panvel,Thane,Borivali,Kurla,Andheri,Chhatrapati
ShivajiTerminus,Gwalior,Indore,Ajmer,Kota,Jodhpur,Surat,Hajipur,Gaya,
