FINDINGS

Recruitment differs from company to company for each category.

Mostly the manpower planning is done Quarterly and 33.33% do not follow any pattern
they dont have any fixed time.

About 20% of the managers say that they prefer both internal as well as external source
for recruitment and selection.

Starfin prefers to go for campus interviews and even casual application that are received
for recruitment and Data Bank sand only 5% of HR prefer placement agencies.

Company uses personal form of interview.

5% prefer to take telephonic interviews where as only 1.66% goes for video conferencing
and rest 3.33% adopt some other means of interviews.

Majority of employees thinks that present recruitment policy adopted by company is


excellent

According to the Survey, company dont utilize internet sites for the recruitment process.

Company using structured technique of interview.

Company prefer personal interview in selection process.

According to survey it is observed that the company are utilizing the job description in
order to make screening process more efficient.

About 75% of the mangers go for direct recruitment and selection and less number for
mangers prefer indirect or third party.

The company is having skilled employees who can give prime solutions to
the clients more effectively.

The management is showing there individual attention to each and every


employees for their betterment and to groom there skills.

SUGGESTIONS

Recruitment policy is satisfactory in starfin but the periodicity of recruitment is being


more which needs to be reduced.

Company should prefer both internal as well as external source for recruitment and
selection.

Starfin need to create their own recruiting website for better option.

Selection process should be less time consuming.

Virtual screening test will be conduct.

Methods used for selection of candidate should be done carefully and systematically.

Evaluation and control of recruitment and selection should be done fair judgment.

Ready to adopt the technological change.

Manpower requirement for each department in the company is identified well in advance.

If the manpower requirement is high and the recruitment team of the HR department
alone cannot satisfy it, then help from the placement agencies is needed.

Communication, personal and technical skills need to be tested for employees.

During the selection process not only the experienced candidates but the fresh candidates
should be selected so as to avail the innovation and enthusiasm of new candidates.

Establish systems for interviewers to get feedback on their interview behavior and on the
decisions made.

CONCLUSIONS
This presents the summary of the study and survey done in relation to the Recruitment and
Selection in Starfin India Private Limited The conclusion is drawn from the study and survey of
the company regarding the Recruitment and Selection process carried out there. The recruitment
process at Starfin India Private Limited to some extent is not done objectively and therefore lot
of bias hampers the future of the employees. That is why the search or headhunt of people should
be of those whose skill fits into the companys values. Most of the employees were satisfied but
changes are required according to the changing scenario as recruitment process has a great
impact on the working of the company as a fresh blood, new idea enters in the company.
Majority of HR prefer personal interview but there should be other ways.
Selection process is good but it should also be modified according to the requirements and
should job profile so that main objective of selecting the candidate could be achieved. Polices
adopted by starfin are transparent, legal and scientific. Recruitment is fair but it should not be
lengthy. I have given various options from which the hiring of the candidates in the organization
is selected through my questionnaire. Like 75% of the employees are hired through direct
recruitment, whereas 10% of them are hired through web portals.

This study suggest that when Recruitment and Selection Process is properly established and
implemented then organization will must grow because all the employees will be according to
the requirements Recruitment and Selection Process affects a lot on the organizational activities
regarding its growth because if the people will be according to the requirements and skillful then
cost will reduce and organization must grow.
