Beam Alignment and Azimuth

The microwave link on each hops has its line-ofsight displayed as beam alignment under this
subsection.
The
point-to-point
microwave
transmission on each hops have been properly
managed by considering the angle of elevations and
azimuth of the antennas on each towers. The results
from the computation of the angle of elevation and
azimuth of each antennas are shown under this
subsection.

The angle of elevation and azimuth of each hops

were displayed in Table I above. The hop that
includes the two towers from Buluatlo, San Miguel,
Bulacan to Barangay Caingin, San Rafael, Bulacan
produces the largest angle of elevation of 45.50 .
The antenna of the tower located in Barangay
Caingin, San Rafael, Bulacan has the least azimuth of
0o156.33 with respect to the True North.

Figure 1. Beam Alignment from Poblacion North,

Science City of Muoz to Umangan, Cabanatuan
City, Nueva Ecija
Figure 1 shows the beam alignment of the first
microwave hop of the design. The angle of elevation
of the receiving antenna of the tower located in
Umangan, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija with respect
to the transmitting antenna of the tower in Poblacion
North, Science City of Muoz is 23.68, considering
the path distance of 22.8 km of the first hop.

Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija to Buluatlo, San
Miguel, Bulacan
The beam alignment of the second microwave
link is shown in Figure 2. The angle of elevation of
the receiving antenna of the tower located in
Buluatlo, San Miguel, Bulacan with respect to the
transmitting antenna tower in Umangan, Cabanatuan
City, Nueva Ecija is 44.09, considering the path
distance of 32.2 km of the second hop.

Caingin, San Rafael, Bulacan
The diagram above shows the beam alignment of
the third hop. As seen in Figure 3, the angle of
elevation of the transmitting antenna of the tower
located in Buluatlo, San Miguel, Bulacan with
respect to the receiving antenna of the tower in
Barangay Caingin, San Rafael, Bulacan is 45.51,
considering the path distance of 28 km of the third
microwave link.

Melcahan, Meycauayan City, Bulacan
Figure 4 shows the beam alignment of the fourth
microwave hop of the design. The angle of elevation
of the receiving antenna of the tower located in
Melcahan, Meycauayan City, Bulacan with respect to
the transmitting antenna of the tower in Barangay
Caingin, San Rafael, Bulacan, is 14.64, considering
the path distance of 26.8 km of the last hop.
