Information For The Program Construct

What is the Leadership Transformation Experience (LTE)?
The LTE is a system crafted for those that desire lasting and effective transformation. It is a series of outdoor
experiential learning that allows individuals to go through a series of exciting yet challenging experiences that will
empower individuals to be confident, inspired and driven for excellence and effectiveness for their personal
development and how they function together as a team.
Why the type of location?
We propose a private orchard at Hulu Selangor which fits the criteria of back to basics for 1 or 2 days program.
Other example locations are Trolak Country Resorts which has comfortable accommodations and a nature
surrounding with the right elements. Whichever locations selected will be first discussed with your end so that it can
be conducive for learning.
Can this location induce learning?
This location suits adult learning because it is away from comfort zone to allow disconnection. The surrounding
jungle allows adults to be creative and enhance problem solving skills. The big open area allows better social
relations while the facilitators do their best to create the mood.
Any backup plan if it rains?
The location has indoor facilities and the trainers have a set of backup activities should it rain. Rest assured that it
will all be planned out and you will get the best experience.
How is the structure of the program?
Day 1 will start by catching them off guard right from the beginning, after that letting them disconnect from the world,
and to have positive self-talk and positive letters written for fellow participants. It will get them to enter into a tribal
and communal feel with the bon fire at night to get the desired mood, and get them to speak about the dangers of
working as silo departments.
Day 2, participants will open up more the next day and enter into a more communal way of life. Exchanging cultures
will be optional depending on location and various factors. Participants will perform something entertaining such as
dramas at night to simulate a work related incident, such as silo departments, imitating a colleague etc. This will let
participants have a chance to laugh and relate back.

Page 3

Day 3, participants will have a session on gratitude and motivating each other. By now, participants should
understand how the challenges has helped them, and know that many people are willing to offer positive support for
their work when they go home. They should also feel the need to develop a more human approach at workplace and
wont be afraid to start a new workplace culture.
Questions to ask participants during reflection:
What do you want to gain from this experience? What would help to make it a success? What and how much are
you willing to give to make this happen?
Is the program fixed?
For the purpose of this team building, the structure of the program will be fine tuned once confirmation has been
made. The purpose of this proposal is a sample program based on some basic information given. Our priority is to
ensure you benefit the most out of the program we craft and have a good time spent with The Adventure Learning
Series.
