Layout of Marking Labels in Marking Set

The marking set is used to label the feeders and jumper cables to avoid errors
when connecting the cables. The marking set shows a sector number (from 1
to 6) and a branch (A or B).

4.13.1

Marking Principles
Note:

There is only one label size for both feeder and jumper cable marking.

The marking principle for feeders and jumper cables is shown in Figure 26.

Placing the Labels on the Cable

1. Place the labels on the cable.

Feeder cables should be marked at both ends, as shown in Figure 27.
The labels are placed so that the first letter is closest to the connector.
This means that the labels on the cables are upside down in relation to
each other.
2. Check that the labels are not obscured by other cables.
3. Clean and dry the surface of the cables where the labels are to be fastened.
4. Check that the labels are adhered correctly.

4.14

Testing the Antenna System Installation

Before sealing the connectors, test the antenna system installation. See
Section 3.4 on page 6.

4.15

Sealing the Connectors

In order to protect the connectors between the cables and the antenna
connectors, sealing tape is applied. See Section 3.4 on page 6 for information
on how to seal the connectors.
