person. ( a catching disease )

Bacteria
Bacteria are simple one-celled organisms
which are everywhere and can be good or
harmful. Examples of bacteria are
Infections, bubonic plague, cholera, and
leprosy

How do germs spread?


One of the ways germs/ pathogen spread
is when you make direct contact with
others such as shaking hands with
someone who is infected or kissing an
infected person.

Your body has The Immune System which is


a system in your body that helps protect
against diseases and detects parasites. Long
lasting resistance that is effective against a
specific pathogen is called Immunity.

It response by showing
symptoms such as inflammation,
bodys response to injury/
disease, such as swelling.

Immune System work?
Macrophage ingest
pathogen. Macrophage
display antigens of the
pathogen on their surface.
Antibodies will bind to the
antigens.

How to prevent
Communicable Diseases?
Vaccination or to inject
a solution that contains
a dead or weakened
form of a pathogen
creates immunity.
