Introduction to Advertising
- Discuss the medium of advertising and the different forms it takes. What are
the advantages and disadvantages of different forms of advertising?
- Go through Techniques in Advertising PowerPoint. Students to take notes
from PowerPoint (*Modified: Print and hand out PowerPoint presentation*)

Moving Forward
- Discuss persuasive language. Use the persuasive language task to get
students thinking about the types of language used in advertising.

Discuss bias in advertising. Hand out Bias in Advertising sheet and discuss
how different aspects can influence the bias of an advertisement.
