Narrative Report How does one put 3 years of work hopes in 45 minutes report to the people? In accordance to the synchronize program of the Division City of School of Las Pias The First State of School Address SOSA by all school head last October 7, 2016 at exactly 3:00 p.m. There was a program before the SOSA. Mrs. Remy Cerezo lead the prayer, followed by singing the Makabayang Awit song by chorale group of Talon Elementary School which was conducted by Mrs. Melanie Hidalgo. Then the introduction and state of purpose of the said event, the SOSA, by Mrs. Lory R. Sta. Maria This event was attended by Baragay Officials of Talon I headed by Hon. Miling Ramos, Talon Teachers, the GPTA offials, parents and our Senior Education Program Specialist for monitoring and evaluation Mr. Edsel Santos, with the total of 506 participants. The message of 2016 1st state of School Address was all about the past 3 years, achievement, programs and plans of the present principal Maam Erlinda S. Carpio. She presented comprehensively with the use of powerpoint and discussed the following. The enrollment from S.Y. 2013 16, that there was a decrease of enrollment due to construction of new school at Talon 3 Elementary School Annex and the present construction of new 4 storey building in TES. In the last 3 years, majority of the training, attended by the teachers were about K-12 and PLCS. The students seat ratio, there are enough seats for all our
students. The learners classroom ratio, all levels have a recommended
class size. Textbook learners ration has been sustained at 1:1. The literacy level of the students moved from frustration level to instructional level both in English and Filipino. For the promotion level the average promotion rate for the last 3 years was 95.84%. in Drop-outs the cause of the drop out of student remain to be sickness. She also proudly presents the school award and recognition. And she mentioned also the school feeding program, that the school feeds 316 students to fight malnutrition, as well as student from grade three and six during NAT and LAPG review every Saturday. As Mrs. Erlinda S. Carpio explained thoroughly and presented it well. This SOS was evidently proven through statistical and testimonials, successful. As she ended her speech. She thanks everyone for untiring contribution for the success of her 3 years stay at Talon Elementary School. She also encourage everyone to continue, supporting TES in all the way, for all of this is for the center of education the young children. In the last part of the program there were foods and refreshment given to all participants.
