Why did you choose glass?

Why would you use glass as fine aggregate?
Why not as a coarse aggregate?
What are the advantages of waste glass than other solid waste material?
Why chose glass as a replacement when there are many ways to recycle
glass?
6. What is the difference of your study than the previous cases of waste glass?
7. Why are you conducting that study?
8. What is the research gap?

12.What is the issue that needs to be addressed?
13.Why use waste glass instead of other waste material?
14.Why do you want to study the particle size of waste glass?
15.Why do you want to use glass in concrete?
16.What is the issue on using the particle size of waste glass for the study and
for what reason?
17.Why use compressive strength?
18.Why single out on the particle size?
19.Whats the difference of your study from the previous literatures?
20.

Dont claim that the study has never been conducted, put that studies in the
background and they only give limited information. Varying the particle size of glass
will give the effect of each particle size on the compressive behaviour

Why replace Sand with Waste Glass? Sand is not a fast-growing resource; it is
formed by erosion of rocks. It takes thousands and more years, until a rock by the
force of wind and water are ground to sand. It is the most consumed natural
resource after water, a key component of concrete, and is being extracted at a rate
far greater than its renewal. Worldwide
To address the issue of sand scarcity, this study is exploring the potentials of using
waste glass in concrete. Since glass is made up molten glass,
Issue of Waste Glass Pollution Scarcity of Sand Solution: To address those issues
this study is exploring the potentials of using waste glass in concrete. Recycling of
waste glass as a fine aggregate helps to lessen the amount of pollution caused by
waste glass, also it helps to save a lot of energy and minimize the consumption of
the raw materials used to produce glass especially sand.

why chose different partcle sizes?

since we know that the a fine particle glass has a pozzolaic properties, we are
concern in which what particle size of glass has a great contribution of pozzolaic
property that can help the bond of the concrete mixture
The concomitant alkali-silica reaction (ASR) by using glass in concrete and its
unique aesthetic properties have been investigated since then. However, no
complete solution to ASR has been found.

The alkalies of concern, primarily sodium and potassium hydroxides, Na(OH) and
K(OH), exist in variable but small amounts, primarily as alkali sulfates in all portland
cements. They form alkali hydroxides as soon as water is added. These alkalies
raise the pH of fresh concrete above 13, maybe even above 14, primarily because
they are very water-soluble.

so dire la lagi tungod sa glass an ASR

mayda na talaga ASR sa normal concrete mixture

An ASR lwat nadepende lwat sa aggregates
The alkalisilica reaction (ASR), more commonly known as "concrete cancer", is a
reaction which occurs over time in concrete between the highly alkaline cement
paste and the reactive non-crystalline (amorphous) silica found in many common
aggregates, given sufficient moisture.
