1:26 p.m. Donald Stone calls 911
to report finding his cousin, Kenneth
Rhoden, dead in his camper a few miles from
the other shootings.

April 22

7:49 a.m. Bobby Jo Manley calls


911 to report that she found the bodies of
her brother-in-law, Christopher Rhoden, and
his cousin, Gary Rhoden. She also finds her
nephew, Clarence Frankie Rhoden, and his
fiance, Hannah Gilley, dead in the trailer they
shared next door. Her brother, James Manley,
discovers their sister, Dana Manley Rhoden,
dead in her trailer about a mile away on
Union Hill Road. Her children, Hanna Rhoden
and Christopher Rhoden Jr., are later
discovered by investigators. They were shot.

April 24 Authorities find three marijuana grow


operations at two of the four crime scenes.
They also execute five search warrants and
conduct 50-60 interviews.
April 24 Ohio Attorney General
Mike DeWine describes the massacre as a
sophisticated operation and a pre-planned
execution in which the killer or killers did
everything they could to make it difficult to
solve the case.

Gary Rhoden is buried in Kentucky.

Visitation for six Rhoden family


members in West Portsmouth, Ohio.

Funeral services for six Rhoden


family members; burial of five follows
at Scioto Burial Park.

Authorities move the final trailer,
where Dana Rhoden lived with her two
children and newborn granddaughter.
They remain stored at a private company's
warehouse in Waverly.

May 12 Authorities move a camper and two


trailers from Rhoden properties down Ohio 32
and 23 and into storage.

Authorities reopen Union Hill Road
and release the property back to family
members.
June 28
Bobby Jo Manley said she took
a three-hour lie detector test. BCI agents
have not disclosed results to her.
July 2
The Rhoden family is remembered
at the annual Smash It Demolition Derby
at the Pike County Fairgrounds. DeWine said
officials have received 700 tips.

July 22 Authorities announce a $10,000


reward in the case a full 10 weeks
after authorizing it.

Pike County Sheriff Charles
Reader says in juvenile court
hearing investigators are now looking for more
than one killer and the children and their
caregivers remain in grave danger.

July 26 Pike County Coroner David Kessler


and DeWine refuse to release final autopsy
reports, citing the ongoing investigation.
The Enquirer sues for the records.
Decision is pending.
Aug. 17 DeWine says federal agencies have
been involved in the investigation, including
the Department of Homeland Security. He
said the killers had to be familiar with the
Rhoden properties.
