Sapa Extrusions North America

w w w . s a p agroup.com/NA

DIAMONDBACK is an integrated system of

slipresistant* components and accessories that are
designed for improved safety on access, walking and
working surfaces. Extruded in 6061-T6 aluminum alloy,
then deeply textured, DIAMONDBACK products are
exceptionally strong, yet lightweight. The great-looking,
corrosion-resistant finish is virtually maintenance-free.
Easy to fabricate and install, DIAMONDBACK is ideal
for todays building needs. Choose from solid or
ventilated designsthe self-cleaning ventilated design

prevents the build-up of dirt, grease, snow, etc. Versatile

DIAMONDBACK is available in configurations and sizes
for every requirement:

STAIR TREAD
DIAMONDBACK Stair Tread has high load carrying
capability. It features a reinforced nosing for added
strength and ready identification of the leading edge.
Satisfying a wide range of industrial applications in solid
or ventilated designs, Stair Tread is available in 7, 9,
10, 11 or 12 widths. It is also excellent as running
boards on emergency vehicles, platforms on movable
stairways and cantilevered safety ramps.

DECKPLATE
DIAMONDBACK Deckplate offers excellent strength and
stability for walkways, platforms, mezzanines, catwalks and
other unsupported structures. Solid and ventilated designs,
6 and 12 widths, and heights from 3/4 to 2 (in 1/4
increments) accommodate various load/span requirements.
Wider panels can be formed with the unique dovetail interlock.

EZ Grip has all the benefits of standard Deckplate

(strength, corrosion-resistance, lightweight), but with a
less aggressive tread. Recommended for surfaces traversed by soft items (i.e. cardboard boxes) or bare feet.
Aluminum anchor clamp fastens Deckplate
to support beams use when panels may
need to be removed.T his accessory
remains below the surface and does not
interfere with foot traffic.D eckplate may
also be welded for permanent installation.
