Foundation of HEMANT SURGICAL INDUSTRIES LIMITED lays back to the year 1987. Since its inception,
the Company is successfully led under the continuous guidance of the expertise of Mr. Hanskumar Shah, the
Managing Director.
After having gathered an enriched experience and knowledge in the field of medical and surgical products
and being amongst the pioneers in the aforementioned field, the company expanded its reach in the Indian
market by diversifying into the pharmaceutical sector.
With a goal to excel in its new pharmaceutical venture, it established state-of-the art facilities in its business
of manufacturing of small volume parenterals in vials and ampoules and external preparations. The facility
layouts have been planned and developed in accordance with the current International WHO and GMP
standards and it is spread across a plot area admeasuring 3100 sq.mts. The proposed facility is planned and
developed as a ground plus one storey building. RCC is of 16,000 sq.ft.
The entire infrastructure is built in a manner so as to ensure there are stringent provisions for epoxy flooring,
epoxy painted walls, coved corners and a completely dust free facility. The location of the facility is such that
there is continuous and sufficient supply of electricity. Also due to the provision of personal bore well, there
is continuous supply of water. All the machineries, equipments and systems in the premises are of the latest
technology so as to ensure uninterrupted and smooth production.
Proper care has been taken to allot each function/department in the facility to the best suitable personnel so
as to achieve quality and efficiency in work output. Systematic procedures are adopted and followed for
execution of work as well as maintenance of records. The ultimate aim of channelizing all the efforts is to
deliver supreme quality products at the best competitive prices to our elite clientele in a time bound manner.
The Company is registered with SSI having E.M.No. 270211201287 and so it is entitled to all the advantages
associated therein.
The location of Achhad Industrial Estate is such that it has easy accessibility. It is at a distance of 2.0 hours
drive away by road from Thane. Also it has good connectivity by means of railways, Bhilad being the nearest
station .Convenient transportation is available from Bhilad railway station to the facility.
