Who We Are
Our team members and associates are clean
energy enthusiasts who have diverse educational
and professional background. The company was
founded on the principles of professionalism,
transparency and competency. Our combined
experiences include project and business
development in wind, solar and energy efficiency
technologies, logistics and procurement
throughout Indonesias remote regions, and power
plant design and management. We have
international experiences throughout the region in
Southeast Asia as well as Europe, America and
Australia. All of us are passionate about the clean
energy industry and dedicated in being a true
partner for our clients to implement clean energy
technologies such as renewable energy and energy
efficiency projects.

History
Individually, our team members and associates
have over 20 years of experiences in clean
energy projects throughout Southeast Asia.
Prior to deciding to form our own company in
2015, we have worked together in other
projects. Our experiences led us to the
conclusion that properly executed and
managed clean energy projects are good for the
environment while at the same time create cost
saving opportunities for the end-users. This is
where our passion lies, helping our clients
decide on, implement, and manage clean energy
projects that also save money.

I.

What We Can Do
Our services range from business plan and strategy development,
project development support (site survey and acquisition, grid impact
studies, etc), technical and engineering support, logistics and
operations management, as well as some financial and regulatory
recommendations.

We are able to assist with most clean energy project types such as solar PV, wind, hydro and
energy efficiency. This includes solar street lights, off-grid systems, micro and mini grid systems,
residential/commercial/industrial/utility scale grid connected solar PV systems, solar pool
pumps, and many others. All of our design and reference components follow local safety codes
and international industry best practices.
Our business management team work closely with the technical team in order to help our
clients to develop business plans and strategies that are financially and technically viable. In
addition, this close collaboration allows us to assist our clients with many creative business
models that are in line with their risk appetite, capabilities and requirements. We also have
experience to assist our clients in the project development support phase of clean energy
projects. We have access to team members who are experienced in stakeholder engagement
tasks, site survey and site acquisition tasks, feasibility study tasks, and many others.

How We Work
First and foremost, we are a consulting
company that work with our clients to
achieve their clean energy goals, vision and
mission. On most project types, we are
able to work as an owners engineer to
assess, design, and manage the
procurement and construction of the
project. This allows the client to be able to
competitively select the supplier and the
contractor while keeping the project
properly managed.

We are also able to provide turn-key

projects if thats required. Typically, this will
cost the clients more money but it also shifts
the project and construction risks from the
client to us. Our turn-key project rates are
competitive with the typical market prices given the
same level of product quality and professionalism.

Another way that were able to be a partner with our clients is on a lump sum, milestone and
scope of work achievement basis. The scope of work and specific milestones are defined up
front and the contract payments are strictly based on us meeting the scope of work and the
milestones of the project. Some projects lend themselves to this type of agreements, such as
business and project development consulting projects.
In the end, we are flexible to almost any arrangements that our clients are comfortable with.
Each project is different, have different requirements, and we are adaptable to any situation.

III.

Example Project Types

These are some of the project types and services that we are able to offer. We are also able to
customize our services to the clients needs as required. The collective capabilities of our team
members and associates allow us to offer a wide range of consulting and project support
services.

1. Product Based
SMART STREET LIGHTS (with and without Solar PV)
We provide the design, procurement, budgeting and construction management of smart street
lights. These lights include monitoring systems that report the different conditions to a
centralized server. Different alarms and warnings can be set up to ensure the systems are
operating. The monitoring system does include solar PV system performance when installed
with the street lights.
GRID CONNECTED SOLAR PV SYSTEMS
Ranging from residential to utility scale systems, were able to design the system, procure the
components and manage the construction of these projects. We have strong connections with
first tier high quality manufacturers of solar PV and inverters. Unlike other companies, in
addition to having the option of doing a turn-key project, we are also available for consulting
services throughout the projects process. Our customizable set of services include site
assessment, system design, procurement/logistics/construction management, project
management, owners engineering roles, and many others.
OFF-GRID SOLAR PV SYSTEM
Typically, these systems come in two different types, individual systems and community
systems. We have the expertise to design, procure, and implement both types. Beyond the
typical small home systems (SHS) and centralized community solar PV systems, we have
designed additional features to these systems. Most importantly are modularity and
connectivity to accommodate future growth as well as remote monitoring.
One of the key project we have worked on is a modular rural electrification mini-grid system.
The system is modular in that additional power plants can be added in the future and energy
storage can also be added (or removed if the utility grid arrives in the area). Another feature of
the project is the smart branch metering that allows for household level energy use metering
and billing system. The meter also includes mobile-banking features for the payment system.

SOLAR WATER PUMPS
In many cases, solar water pumps are a lot more cost effective to run than regular pumps
running on grid electricity or diesel generators. The pumps are available as submersible wellpumps capable of pumping to depths of over 400 meters or pumping large volumes to almost
1000 m3 (1 million liters) per day. Also available are surface pumps for circulation, pressure
boost, or pool filtration systems. They can also be designed to work in parallel including for
industrial uses and even municipal water systems.
MICRO/MINI GRID AND RURAL ELECTRIFICATION SYSTEMS
In addition to solar PV based systems, we are also able to design micro and mini grid systems for
electricity distribution. We will assess the project requirements and select different
technologies for the grid controls, energy and power generation types, as well as the metering
system. If needed, we can also devise a billing system strategy that works with the community
and meets the clients needs.
Our team members have been involved in developing rural electrification projects that include
writing comprehensive grant proposals and business plans. They were also the primary team
members in the system design of a rural electrification project that was fully funded by a grant
from a green investment foundation. Our team member designed the power plant, energy
storage system, distribution network, metering and monitoring system, mobile banking
payment, and also heavily involved in the development of the business model.

2. Consulting Based
BUSINESS PLAN AND MARKET STRATEGY
Based on the clients requirements, goals and risk appetite, we help develop business plans and
market strategies to help them succeed in Indonesia. We combine our technical knowledge
with the business savvy of our team members and associates to help our clients succeed in
Indonesia.
PROJECT DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT
Once the business plans and strategies have been developed, we further assist our clients to
execute them and support their business and project development efforts. During the initial
stages, we deploy our team members to look for potential clients or project locations, start
engaging the relevant stakeholders, perform site surveys and assessment, and many other
activities. Our goal is to help our clients succeed with their business and projects in Indonesia.
BUSINESS MODEL DEVELOPMENT, LOCAL PARTNER SELECTION AND DUE DILIGENCE
We develop new and creative business models for our clients to give them a competitive edge
over the existing ones. It is not just the product and services that make a difference, but how it
is presented to the customers and what value propositions can be offered to them. We help
customize the offerings to the consumer so that our clients products and services can become
successful in the market place.
As part of these efforts, a local business partner is important for our clients. We develop a list of
pre-selection criteria, find appropriate potential business partners and evaluate them for our

clients. Once a short list has been selected, a due diligence assessment is performed to help our
clients pick the right local partner.
SITE ASSESSMENT
For solar PV, wind and hydro projects, our teams of field engineers and stakeholder engagement
experts will visit the sites to assess their suitability. This include assessing the social and legal
aspects of the site in addition to the typical technical assessments. We work with some of the
best local companies when geo-technical services are needed such as soil sample analysis,
hydrology studies, and many others. Our team members are very experienced in site acquisition
activities and understand what it takes to secure the land required for the project.
LOGISTICS AND PROCUREMENT MANAGEMENT
We help our clients with the operations of the projects starting from local and import
procurement management, logistics of the materials to the site, manpower management, and
local project management tasks. Managing Indonesian local logistics and procurement
management require specific local experience Our team members and associates are
experienced in dealing with the complexities and have significant local knowledge to help our
clients projects succeeds
GRID INTERCONNECTION STUDIES, AND PROJECT FEASIBILITY STUDIES
Integrating variable renewable energy systems with the grid is one of the most important
challenge to overcome. This decision is fully in the hands of the utility company. Our team
members and associates are very familiar with the Indonesian utility company and how the grid
interconnection studies are performed. We are aware of the dispatch strategy and grid
management procedures for Indonesias grids. Based on this, we work closely with the
Indonesian utility company to successfully integrate our clients renewable energy power plants.
Using our local knowledge and expertise, we suggest different ways for our clients to plan the
project (such as long term O&M strategy) in a way to maximize revenue and profit.
SYSTEM OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
Once a project is built, it will require continuous monitoring and operations management as well
as periodic maintenance tasks. We work closely with our clients to develop the right O&M
strategies and help implement them. This may include hiring local people from the project
location, build their capacity to be able to perform the required tasks and have a more
experienced team of engineers be on site with our experts in Jakarta ready to deploy as needed.
For projects with several sites, a centralized O&M control system can be developed and
managed by our team from Jakarta.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY DESIGN CONSULTING
As new buildings and facilities are being planned and designed, our team members and
associates are able to work with the client and their selected contractor on the energy efficiency
of the design. As the designs are being developed we can offer different options that will
increase the energy efficiency and still make financial sense. These calculations will be
performed on the different options available and be presented to the client who will make the

final selection. When required, a full building simulation will be performed to ensure that the
different energy efficient solutions work together to reduce the buildings energy consumption.
ENERGY AUDIT AND ESCO PROJECT SUPPORT
For existing buildings, some obvious energy efficiency measures can be done by the building
owner and manager. But it is very important to have a neutral third party independent audit
done by experts who are up to date on the latest energy efficiency technologies. Our team
members and associates have performed many investment grade energy audits and are always
keeping up with the latest technologies. The audits are done not only to look at the simple
electricity consumption, but also thermal requirements such as steam and hot water, fuel
requirements for various uses, and also water efficiency of the plumbing system.
Once the audit is done, we help our clients find ESCO companies who will finance the project on
a performance based contract. This is done by taking the audit we have done, establishing a
baseline calculation methodology for the facility and then implementing the energy efficiency
measures. Any cost savings against the baseline calculation will then be shared between the
investor and the facility owner for a certain period of time before ownership of the assets are
transferred to the building owner

Past Experiences

SYSTEM DESIGN AND ENGINEERING

Our team members and associates have designed and implemented many types of renewable
energy systems. The implementation includes project management and logistics
mobilization/demobilization to remote areas of Indonesia. Some of the project types include:

Residential solar PV systems, grid connected and with batteries

Off-grid solar PV systems for individual homes and facilities (such as schools)
Off-grid community solar PV systems
Off-grid commercial solar PV systems for telecommunication facilities
Solar well-pumps and solar pool pumps
Solar street lights
Village electrification system with smart monitoring and mobile payment

LOGISTICS AND OPERATION MANAGEMENT

Our operations management team have had experience delivering materials and managing
projects throughout Indonesia. Even to very remote locations that require very complex
transportation strategies. Overall, there have been over 300,000km accumulated distance
where we have delivered materials and manpower throughout Indonesia from Sumatra to
Papua and everywhere else in between. Some of the remote areas weve worked in include the
Indonesian regions of Papua, Maluku and East Nusa Tenggara.
ESCO ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROJECT
We have successfully been involved in signing the first comprehensive ESCO agreement with a
hospital in Surabaya, Indonesia. It covered not only electricity use through lighting, but also

HVAC system, thermal energy use and fuel consumption savings. A mathematical model of the
baseline energy use prior to the implementation of the energy efficiency measures were
established. The model was benchmarked against previous consumptions and was found to be
very accurate. The energy cost savings was shared between the investor, auditor and the
hospital.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY DESIGN CONSULTING
Our team members and associates have also been successful in being part of the design team of
several high profile buildings in Indonesia. We were engaged from the beginning by the owner
to work closely with the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) contractor and building
architect. We were able to provide energy efficient options and analyze the financial benefits of
each option as well as validate the performance different designs proposed by the architects
and contractors.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND STRATEGY
For business development and strategy consulting, the largest client our team member has had
was a Japanese manufacturing company with a revenue in 2015 of over US$11.5 Billion. Our
role was to lead the Indonesian efforts to establish their upcoming renewable energy product
for the South East Asian market. Several business models and business plan versions were
created and presented to the companys upper management in Japan. The client also needed
our technical expertise in establishing and finalizing new features for the product as well as
review the performance for typical conditions in South East Asia.
PROJECT DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT
We have been approached and worked with multinational clean energy project development
companies to support their efforts in Indonesia. Recently this support has included potential
client identification, business model development, investment strategies, stakeholder
engagements and many others. The more technical and hands-on activities include site survey
and assessments, grid interconnection studies, feasibility studies, project identification
assessments, potential project due diligence and more. The projects have included hydro power
projects, utility scale solar PV systems, commercial rooftop solar PV systems, off-grid systems
and rural electrification projects.
