Company Background
Chester Properties Sdn Bhd, previously Chester Properties, was founded by Mr.
Howard Chew and Mr. Sean Yong in 2006 with principals Ms. Betty Kanapathy
and Mr. David Cheong. A young and dynamic company, Chester Properties Sdn
Bhd has within a short time grown from a single-office entity in Kota
Damansara to include branch offices in Desa Sri Hartamas, Bangsar, and all the
way in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea, China, Hong Kong.
The expansion to Korea is a major step forward as well as a great reputation
boost for Chester Properties Sdn Bhd in our aspiration to become a regional
player and to ultimately achieve global recognition.
To further enhance the skills set and productivity of our team of professional
real estate negotiators, Chester Properties Sdn Bhd established a dedicated
training facility, the Chester Training Centre in Sunwaymas, Kota Damansara.
This is to ensure a continuous learning culture in order to provide industryleading services, advice and assistance to Chester Properties Sdn Bhd's vast and
varied list of customers.

Howard Chew
(Founder / Group CEO)
Howards story has been nothing short of being spectacular.
Having graduated with flying colours in Business Management
in Australia, Howard ventured into the real estate industry with
relatively zero experience.
In only 1 year, this young man had equipped himself with an
abundance of knowledge and skills in the property industry
during which he also made his first "pot of gold".
With a zest for bigger things, Howard conceived and helmed
Chester Properties in 2006. Under his leadership, Chester grew
from just a handful of negotiators to the present day strength of
80 well-trained, professional negotiators spread over 4 local
branch offices with an overseas office in Seoul, Korea and 300
well-trained project marketing consultant.
A go-getter at heart, Howard believes that to be a successful
negotiator, aggressiveness, hard work, self-belief and discipline
are attributes that one cannot do without - the same qualities he
expects and instils in his team at Chester Properties.

Sean Yong
(Co-Founder / Group COO)
Sean Yong is an affiliate member of Malaysian Institute of Estate
Agents (MIEA). He has been involved in auction properties for
years, assisting clients in dealing in and transacting with hundreds
of auction properties.
He also has broad experiences and enviable records in agency
management, consultancy and sale of investment properties.
Currently, Sean focuses mainly on domestic property projects and
handles the management and operations of Chester Properties.
Sean Yong is very self-driven and believes in teamwork. "Together
Everyone Achieves More and Grows As A Family" it echoes.

Chester Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
The Chester Foundation was established on 1 April 2010 as part of
Chester's Social Responsibility initiatives. Chester Properties Sdn Bhd will
allocate 1% of its total revenue (commissions) to the Chester Foundation
which will come under the control of a elected committee. All accounting
procedures will be transparent and all donation and sponsorship decisions
must be approved by this committee.
Objectives of the foundation :a) The foundation will comply to Chester's Corporate Social
Responsibility Policy
b) To extend help to the disabled, elderly and orphaned to create a
healthier,
more comfortable and meaningful life.
c) To extend sponsorship to the SPCA ( Society for the Prevention of
Cruelty to Animals) and any other societies.
