INSTALLATION

YACHTING cladding can be installed

vertically and horizontally. The case

reconstitute the continuity of the film.
The cladding is not intended to be

Begin by fixing a batten vertically on
the wall, and then a second 27x40mm
batten horizontally with a centre-to-centre
distance of no more than 60cm. The
cladding must be installed at least 20cm

above ground level. Make sure that you

allow sufficiently large air inlets and outlets
to guarantee 50cm2 of air inlet per metre

The battens are fixed using A2 stainlesssteel nails or staples (A4 in marine
atmospheres less then 3km from the

The interval between fixing points
must be no more than 30cm for 15mmthick battens fixed onto a continuous

perpendicular to the load-bearing frame
and 65cm for 27mm battens.
For better water drainage, it is
recommended that the bottom of the
boards should be bevelled at an angle of
30.

FIXING

The covering of the planks with joint cover is

at least 10% of the widest part.
The penetration of the fixing into the supports
is greater than or at least equal to 25 mm.
A single fixation point is recommended for
the 53x18mm moulding. It must be positioned
in the centre and penetrate into the second

The blades must be fixed by means of
stainless steel fixings. The penetration of fixing
heads in the wood must not exceed 1 mm.

100 % CERTIFIED OF THE FOREST TO

THE FINISHED PRODUCT

EMISSIONS OF CO2
AND VOC LIMITED

We build lasting relationships with our owners and

partners foresters and encourage their involvement
in a common environmental approach, according
to the criteria of the PEFCTM certification.
All forest operators adhere to codes of good
practice.
Our management system of our wood supplies ensures
optimal replanting forests and resource availability.
We have a control chain PEFC multi-site. Thus,
100% of our finished products carry the FSC
trademark or PEFCTM.

We prefer paints and finishes without solvents and

minimizing the emission of VOCs (Volatile Organic
Compounds). The proximity of our production and
processing in France as well as our location in the
heart of the Landes forest of Gascogne reduce
transportation and carbon footprint. Our Sheets
Environmental and Health Declaration (available in
the baseline INIES) highlight the carbon storage of
our products. Recall that 1,3 cubic meter of wood
= 1 tonne less CO2 into the atmosphere.

FRENCH MANUFACTURING

Maisons 4 saisons - La Rsinire

We mainly use wood from the forest of the Landes

de Gascogne. Our products are processed on our
sites in the South West of France. The aim is to
make the best wood at all stages of processing.

INDUSTRIAL PROCESSES
TO REDUCE IMPACT

We work tirelessly to reduce our energy

consumption and emissions from combustion
favoring the predominant use of biomass energy.
We value 100% wood material in the various
processes of transformation. Wastes sawing and
planing are completely reused in the manufacture
of paper and panels, or feeding our boilers as
green energy source.
