In the night of Feb. 14, 2 friends, Pablo Escobar and Pacho Herrera,
decided to have a drinking spree at a sari-saristore owned by Mangmang
Kanor. The 2 friends started at around 6pm that continued deep into the night.
During this drinking spree, they had an argument because of Valeria Velez, a girl,
they both have feelings for. A physical altercation between the two resulted from
such argument where Pablo emerged as the victor.
Embarassed and defeated, Pacho shouted to Pablo, Hijo de Puta!
Babalikan kita! The latter left the store and ran towards the direction of his
house located not far from such store. Pablo continued drinking until he passed
out from being drunk.
After a few minutes, at around 10 oclock in the evening, Pacho returns to
the store with a bolo in his hand. He approached Pablo from behind, and slit the
throat of the latter while he was sleeping. Before he left the scene of the crime,
he shouted at Kanor who saw the entire thing, Subukan mong kumanta,
papatayin kita, pati pamilya mo!
Pacho left the store running towards the direction of the mountains.
Kanor approached Pablo and checked if he still had a pulse. He sought the
help of 2 people walking in the street so that they may bring him to the nearest
barangay health clinic.
Upon arrival at the health clinic, they were accommodated by Dr. Dre. The
doctor, declared Pablo dead on arrival.
Mang Kanor, reported the incident to the Police. Sp01 Javier Pena was
assigned to investigate the matter.
The following day, Pena, together with other policemen, relying on the
information stated by Kanor, were able to locate Pacho in a cave near the foot of
a mountain leading to his arrest.
JUDY MONCADA (NEIGHBOR)

Judy Moncada is a neighbor of Pacho Herrera. In the night of Feb 14 at

around 9 or 930 in the evening, he heard Pacho shouting vulgar words. Alarmed,
she went outside and saw Pacho exit his house with a bolo in his hand. According
to her, Pacho ran towards the direction of Kanors store.
Valeria Velez (Crush nila)
In the night of Feb 14, at around 1030 pm, Velez was walking down the
road towards the direction of Kanors store. He saw Pacho all bloody and holding
a bolo in his hand. According to her, Pacho was in a hurry and as if he was
running away from something.
