Programming the Remote

There are 3 programming methods available for the 8-In-1 Universal Remote:
Brand Code Search, Direct Code Entry and Automatic Code Search.
We suggest trying the Brand Code Search first. This is the quickest method
to program the remote if your brand is listed in the Top Brand List (See page
11). If your brand is not listed, program the remote using Direct Code Entry.
Use Automatic Code Search only if Direct Code Entry fails. If the brand of
your selected device is listed in the Top Brand List you may be able to program the remote by a quick search through the Code List for that specific
brand. Please follow the steps below:

Brand Code Search

Notes:
Brand Code Search is supported only in TV, SAT, VCR and DVD modes.
This method will not work for other devices. (If AUX is programmed with
a TV, SAT, VCR or DVD, the Brand Code Search method is supported.)
Brand Code Search consists of the 20 most popular TV brands and 10
each of the most popular SAT, VCR and DVD brands.
1. Turn on the device you want the remote to control. For VCR/CD/DVD,
insert a tape/disc at the same time.
2. Locate the number that corresponds to the brand using the Top Brand
List. (For example, if your TV is a SONY, the correct number is 00; if
your VCR is a PANASONIC, the correct number is 2.)

(e.g. 00 for Sony TV). The LED turns off each time you press the button and illuminates again after your release it. To exit any time after
this step, press and release EXIT button.
