Taleo Dashboard Quick-Sheet

This Quick-sheet will provide basic information needed to use the Taleo Dashboard. Many of the
tasks can be performed without signing into the application.

Taleo Dashboard
The Taleo Dashboard can be easily accessed from Microsoft Outlook, by using the Dashboard icon or the
Taleo menu option from the top toolbar in Outlook.
Dashboard Icon
Click the Dashboard icon, located on the
Outlook toolbar.

Taleo Menu
Select the Taleo menu option at the top of the
Outlook window and click the Dashboard
item.

Dashboard Links
There are three useful links located at the top of the Taleo Dashboard.

Allows quick access to the Taleo


Performance main menu

Refreshes the Dashboard page


and looks for new entries

Closes the Dashboard and returns


to MS Outlook

Providing Feedback
This section of the Dashboard allows you to provide feedback about an employee when requested.

1. Locate the employee and click Open.


2. On the right side, select the category to
provide feedback on. The selected category
will highlight in blue.
3. Click on the appropriate star on the rating
scale to provide your ranking.
4. Use the Comment field to type comments.
5. When feedback is completed, click the Finish
and Send button.

Approving Goals and Evaluations


As a manager, you will be asked to make approval decisions for Goal Plans and Performance Reviews.

Approving or Rejecting Items


1. Locate the name of the employee.
2. Since you may have the same employee
listed multiple times, verify the subject you
are making a decision about.
3. On the right-hand side, choose the Approve
or Reject button.

4. Click OK on the verification pop-up


window to confirm your decision.
5. The item you made a decision about will
be removed from the list.

Reviewing Tasks
Any task that may be assigned to you may be monitored through the Taleo Inbox. In order to complete a
task, you will need to log into Taleo Performance.
There may be more tasks on your list than are displayed. Click the More button to see the entire list.

Managing Goals
Goals from your Goal Plan will be listed on the Dashboard and can easily be updated through the Taleo
Dashboard.

1. Locate the employee goal you want to


update.
2. Update the completion percentage of the
Task by typing in a number in the %
Progress field and clicking the Save
icon.
3. Click the Yes button to confirm the
percentage change.
4. If you want to review or make comments
about the goal, click on the Comments
button on the right hand side
5. To read an existing comment, double-click
on the comment.
6. To add a comment, click the Add a
Comment button.
7. Enter text for your comment and click the
Add button.

Accepting Network Invitations


Any employee may ask you to become part of his or her network. You can accept or reject their invitation
through the Taleo Inbox.

Approving or Rejecting Invitations


1. Locate the employee who has asked you to
become part of his or her network.
2. On the right-hand side, choose the Approve or
Reject button

3. Click OK on the verification pop-up window to


confirm your decision.
4. The item you approved or rejected will be
removed from the list.

Forwarding Feedback
The Taleo Dashboard allows you to quickly send or forward feedback to others.
1. If you want to forward an e-mail as
part of the feedback, first select
the email; if you do not, skip to
step 2.
2. Click the Create Feedback button
on the Outlook toolbar.
