79/16-17 Planning:
a. Updates and decisions.
West Wight Alpacas following Cllr French visiting Wellow residents properties to witness the
extent of smells from WW Alpacas, to decide whether to arrange a meeting with Planning and
Environmental Health ? (Copies of Cllr Frenchs report circulated to Cllrs).
b. To agree comments on application (for each application 5 minutes are allowed for
applicant/objector etc. to comment):
P/01146/16 Cottle House, Station Road, Ningwood: Replacement of flat roof with pitched roof over
side extension; alterations including cladding to north elevation.
P/01130/16 West Wight Alpacas, land accessed off, Main Road, Wellow: Proposed fan and
extraction system to P/00463/16 TCP/30601/V on approved kitchen (additional information relating
to noise of proposed extraction system)(readvertised).
P/01272/16 land off, Bouldnor Mead, Bouldnor: Approval of reserved matters on P/00336/15 for
access, appearance, landscaping and scale on plots.
80/16-17 Clerks Report (copies circulated to Cllrs, hard copies will be available at the meeting).
81/16-17 Councillors reports including the Ward Councillor.

82/16-17 Recycling Centre To Decide whether to take action to contact DVLA regarding abandoned vehicles.
83/16-17 To Decide whether to appoint a representative to National Trust (meetings held twice a year April and
September)?
84/16-17 To Decide whether the Parish Council wish to have a flagpole in the Parish and if so to investigate
further?
85/16-17 To Decide who will lay the wreaths at the Remembrance Day Services at Freshwater and Shalfleet
Church on Sunday 13th November 2016?
86/16-17 To Decide whether to invite WW Sports Centre & Community Centre Manager and Trustee to future
meeting for them to report on what they are doing, to present them with a big cheque and invite the
press.
87/16-17 Finance:
i)
To Ratify decision made at September meeting to purchase two wreaths at a
cost of 20 each (for Rememberance Day Services at Freshwater and Shalfleet Church)
and give a 25 donation to the Royal British Legion = total 65.
ii)
Shalfleet Junior Rover To Decide whether to extend the period of use due to expire
31st October 2016 (no invoice received from Southern Vectis for this).
iii)
Public Computers to note report from Wight Computers regarding computers for
public access no longer receiving security updates and agree to purchase one new
computer for public use (taking old four and one upstairs, out of action) at cost of 295
plus VAT, setup on site to include network, software and printer setup charged at an
hourly rate of 40 plus VAT, new keyboard and mouse set at 20 plus VAT. (Existing
monitor will be used).
iv)
To approve list of payments (circulated to Cllrs and copy available at the meeting).
88/16-17 Correspondence details of correspondence received tabled.
i)
IWALC email informing PC they will be meeting with IWC on 24 October 2016 have PC
any issued they wish to be raised?
ii)
To Agree any comments the PC wish to send in on the Council Tax Reduction Scheme
(copies of email (with information) and letter circulated to Cllrs).
