LITERATUREREVIEWResearchandtechnologydevelopmentinrenewableenergyresourcesandsmartgridshas
becomeoneofthemajorresearchareas.Nowadays,government,academia,andindustrialsectorsareinvestinga
greatdealoftimeandmoneytopromoteeconomicalandefficientequipmentinrenewableenergysystems.One
maincharacteristicofthesmartgridsistheintegrationoftheDGs,especiallyrenewableresourcessuchaswind
andsolarenergy.Therefore,thesmartgridshouldbemoreflexibletoaccommodatethestochasticnatureofthe
renewableresources.Thefutureofthepowerdistributionsideiscommonlyrefereedasmicrogrid.
