General information

The Pointing Device Utility is software that enables/disables your
pointing devices when Fn+F4 is pressed, when the PC is in tablet
mode (*1) and when the lid is closed (*1).
*1 Only for convertible tablet PCs.

Installation of the Pointing Device Utility
=====================================================================
- You must first sign in as the Administrator in order to install
this software.
- By executing Setup.exe, you will install the Pointing Device
Utility. When executed, an instruction dialog box will
appear on the screen. Follow the instructions in the dialog box
to perform installation.
- The other version of Pointing Device Utility must not be installed.
If it is installed, uninstall it before installing Pointing Device
Utility.

Uninstallation of Pointing Device Utility
=====================================================================
- To uninstall the Pointing Device Utility, you must sign in as an
administrator (Administrator Mode) with an administrator account.
You must also sign out all users before uninstalling the utility.
- Before uninstalling, close all applications.
- To uninstall the utility, perform the following steps:
a) Go to Control Panel.
b) In the Control Panel under Programs, click "Uninstall a
program".
c) Choose "Pointing Device Utility" from the displayed list.
Click the [Uninstall] button.
A Setup Pointing Device Utility dialog box will then appear.

d) Close the Control Panel and click [Yes]. Uninstallation will

begin.

The following systems are supported by the Pointing Device Utility.
This utility should be used on 64-bit operating systems.

Hard Disk Drive:
10 MB or more free space required
Pre-installed Software Required:
Fujitsu System Manager (*1)
Fujitsu System Extension Utility
*1 required only when installed to the convertible tablet PC.

High Risk Activity

The Customer acknowledges and agrees that the Product is designed,
developed and manufactured as contemplated for general use, including
without limitation, general office use, personal use, household use, and
ordinary industrial use, but is not designed, developed and manufactured
as contemplated for use accompanying fatal risks or dangers that, unless
extremely high safety is secured, could lead directly to death, personal
injury, severe physical damage or other loss (hereinafter "High Safety
Required Use"), including without limitation, nuclear reaction control
in nuclear facility, aircraft flight control, air traffic control, mass
transport control, medical life support system, missile launch control
in weapon system. The Customer, shall not use the Product without
securing the sufficient safety required for the High Safety Required
Use. In addition, Fujitsu (or other affiliate's name) shall not be
liable against the Customer and/or any third party for any claims or
damages arising in connection with the High Safety Required Use of the
Product.
