1st gear upgraded thrust washer. OEM on the RIGHT, aftermarket on the LEFT:

These new synchro rings allow for a more accurate up-shift with the synchro ramps modified
for a better contact area. Note the synchro in the 2nd picture. The teeth are of a different
design for the new replacement synchro on the RIGHT:

Thrust plate below. OEM on the LEFT, new plate on the RIGHT:

After all parts are cleaned and thoroughly inspected, the assembly process begins. New
bearings are laid out and ready to be pressed into their new home:

Input shaft gets a new end bearing, synchro and needle bearing. Note how unbelievably
clean all parts are from this point on. Ask your local trans builder if they have an ultrasonic
cleaning machine for their parts

Counter gear cluster assembly gets the cleaning and inspection treatment with new
bearings:

Output gear cluster gets new synchros, bearings, 1st gear thrust and synchro
blueprinting work performed for the best shift quality possible:

Wow! Work of art right there! I'm not sure that the R-154 came out looking that good from
the factory. I'm sure that it will shift better than factory also. Great job!!

Thanks
With the billet 1-2 and 3-4 forks combined with the latest revision of the synchros, it better
have a superior shift than new

Sorry, no kits for the R154. If you tear your trans down and give me a list of what you need
(no gears) then I can sell you anything you need. That's the best way to go about it.
Thanks!

Do you guys carrying any of these in stock built, or does the customer have to send in their
own?

Hi guys,
Not sure how this thread is still here, but we no longer build the R154. Just not enough
parts available to assure the quality we want in them. We hope that someday we will be
able to bring them back, but our main issue is finding replacement gears.
Thanks,
Jack
