As for the scenario given the company Deltacs is an online tactical gear store suppling
outstanding head-to-toe tactical gear for every operation and mission, which bring customers
the latest, and top quality tactical products. Deltacs have been founded and established
since 2013. Since then, the company have been growing every day. They strive to be one of
the top and best tactical gear supply.
So as for the assignment required to analyses and explore Deltacsgear.com the online
business operation. It need to prepare the analysis in a form of report. From the company we
can know the element of Internet marketing, compare the internet marketing tools, the
internet marketing mix and the company order processing.

TASK 1
a) The element of internet marketing

Micro marketing is a strategy used to target a small segment of consumers with specific
needs for products in the market. In micro marketing, all advertising efforts are strongly
focused on a small group of highly targeted consumers. A business should assume the
responsibility of narrowly defining the target group by its unique characteristics. (MELLO,
2014) Its means that as micro marketing is a nearby environment which under which the firm
operates. Micro environment can be divide into six which is general public, customers,
competitions, intermediaries, supplier, and employees.
a) Customers
A customer is an individual or business that purchases the goods or services
produced by a business. Attracting customers is the primary goal of most publicfacing businesses, because it is the customer who creates demand for goods and
services. (investopedia, 2016) As we all know customers will give good impact toward
a business whether it bad or good. Customers can be divide into five, which is
potential customers, new customers, impulsive customers, discount customers and
loyal customers. The customers can make decision whether they want to buy good
from the company or not. Based on the Deltacs website as we can see that Deltacs
have 130k like on the Facebook this is a huge numbers of customers. It means that
there is so many customers that have visit the website. With this it will increase the
new customers confidence that visit the website to buy the product from Deltacs.
With the likes from customers Deltacs can generate more income from customers
that bought product from Deltacs.

b) General public
General public can be define as the company are responsible to make the customers
satisfy on the service or the product that sold. Based on the general public, it is
important for the customer. Customers will usually buy thing at online store. But with a
good relationship with online store it will increase the number of people that buying
the product. These can be seen through Deltacs website that the company have live
chat on the website. The live chat will create a better communication with the
customers. The customers will easily asking question about the product or anything
that they want to know about Deltacs. This is one of the opportunities to Deltacs to
have a better relationship with the customers, since nowadays customers prefer to
have a fast feedback form the online seller it will helps the user to reach the
customers fasters then using email. Next, Deltacs have the customers services
consists of site maps and contact us. With this it will make the user easy to reach the
online store because the customers did not have to find the information such as
phone number or the address of the company everywhere beside the website. The
phone number and the address prepared at the website.

Competitors means that any person or entity which is a rival against another. In
business, a company in the same industry or a similar industry which offers a similar
product or service. (businessdictonary.com, 2016) Competitor will give good impact to
the company but sometimes give bad impact to the company. As an establish
company, Deltacs need to beat the competitor this can be see that the competitor for
Deltacs is Night Force. The Night Force sold almost the same product with Deltacs
which is tactical product but Night Force due to increases their customers through
show customers feedback on the website. This will increase the number of
customers to buy the product because they confidence with the service and the
product. Both Deltacs and Night force sold almost the same ting such as tactical
product, military and more.

Macro marketing is always large in scope. This means that it put more focus on aspects that
goes beyond the scales of micro marketing. Macro marketing is a mechanism that addresses
issues at the nexus of the market and society. Marketers generally view it as a mechanism
that helps them study the opportunities and the shortcomings of marketing. (mello, 2014)
Means that the overall environment that can affect the working of all business.it also can be
divide into six which is physical forces, socio-cultural, technological, legal-polical, economic
and demographic.
a) Socio-cultural
Culture give good advantages to the company that had establish with the culture it will make
the business eager to know what customers need. In order to fulfil customers need, the
product must be suitable to the customers. In this new era, people prefer to follow the trend.
By following the trend they will feel up-to-dated and trendy. There are too many culture
people create nowadays, for the culture people nowadays more into buying online. Because
of the limitation time to go for shopping or else. The customers more prefer to buy online
because through online the user did not have to ware smart or casual cloth just stay at home
or office to buy the product. Next nowadays the culture to sold online. The business more
prefer to sell online, some of them had generate income for hundred thousand but they did
not have store. Selling through online give many, freedom to the business without paying the
expensive rent. They just need to make the business at their house only. But to attract the
customers they need to use a strategy. So that the customers will attracted to purchase the
product online. Next, teenagers nowadays prefer to do outdoor activities such as hiking,
bicycle and more. So the tactical outfit will fulfil their need. With these it will increase the
demand of tactical outfit. Deltacs will receive huge opportunities.
b) Technological
Technology in this era are the most important thing toward people in all over the world. Since
this era is fully connect for internet connection. If the company have high technology used in
the company their business will not be outdated and for the competitor they will always want
to find way to make their company the best. But as for Deltacs, the company has followed
the trend because they had create a website to the customers. With these, the user or
customers can easily access the website anywhere they want or comfortable with. With
these it will create a comfortable environment to the customers and will create a good
relation.

Since nowadays, is the trend to make and online purchase so it necessary to follow
the trend to make sure to gain profit and achieve goals. As for Deltacs they used add to cart
function on their website. The function of add to cart is to make the user easy to purchase
product in large quantity, if not applying the add to cart the customers can only purchase one
product and need to pay it first then choose a product and purchase the next item. So with
the technology being applied it will be easier to customers to buy the product. Deltacs can be
said used technology because to communicate with their customers they used Whatsap,
email instead of call. With these it will make the user easy to communicate with Deltacs. To
ask for the product or anything about the company. Deltacs also used a Facebook as a term
to communicate with the customers and to promote the website to public. Since nowadays
Facebook is a famous medium to all ages to it is so suitable to promote and attract the
customers using the medium.
c) Legal-political
One element macro-political environment is legal, to run a company in Malaysia, the
company must be registered, aims to protect the rights of businesses and to pay some taxes
imposed by the government. The government imposed a tax to generate revenue for the
country. Through government taxes could increase the country's infrastructure. Through this
country will be more advanced. As for the Deltacs there were an establish company this can
be seen when making a purchase it show that the price and the price of GST 6%. Means that
Deltacs register with the government to open the business. With the GST or goods service
taxes Deltacs will not have to pay other taxes. To have the GST system Deltacs need to buy
the computer and the system from the government, then the government will give the code of
GST number. Next, as we can see that Deltacs website have the copyright act, it can be
seen bottom of the website. The act is to protect the Deltacs from other and their right. With
these if any competitor or anyone that want to copy the website Deltacs can sue the
company because Deltacs have register with the copyright act. Deltacs also can protect the
website from the hacker that want to steal information or anything they can be sued.

b) The internet marketing mix

The marketing mix refers to the set of actions, or tactics, that a company uses to promote its
brand or product in the market. (the economic times, 2016) The marketing mix is simple it is
about putting the right product in the place, at the right time, and at the right price. The
marketing mix help determine a product or brands offering. There usually used 4p which is
product, price, place, and promotion but time by time marketing become an advance so it
upgrade become 7p which is including the 4p and process, people, physical evidence.

a) Price
Price is one of the important element in the 7ps, price is the amount of money that the
customers will pay to enjoy the product that the business sold. As for the price, Deltacs show
to the customer, through showing at their product and the bottom of it show the price and if
there is and discount Deltacs show t to the customers. It can be seen in figure below. Form
the price that Deltacs have shown customers can easily find the price and can know the price
of the product. The customers do not have to WhatsApp or email Deltacs to find out the price
of the product. This will make the customers easily can buy the product. Without waiting, for
a long time.

As we can see the price if affordable to buy from the customers because of the quality that
give to the customers, it is suitable with the price. But as for the competitor for Deltacs, the
company sold almost the same product but the different price and offer made such as
11street, or Lazada or Lelong.com, the price that offered is affordable for the customers. As
for the Lelong.com they sold the product a lower price it is good but is it the quality good or
not. And as for the Lazada they price is almost the same like Deltacs but Lazada give
discount for every product to attract the customers. Since people really mad with sales, so
that the medium that Lazada used to attract customers. The 11street also sold the tactical
product with high price without giving any of the discount or special offer. As a customers,
they will purchased at any online business that easy to used and purchased. Even though at
high price. As we can see that, Deltacs control their price to make the customers attract with
them, also the other, they cannot easily lower the price easily.

b) Product
The product can be intangible or tangible as it can be in the form of services or
goods. (themarketingmix, 2016) Based on the above meaning, product could be
intangible or tangible product. Based on the website Deltacs sold the outdoor
appearance for man or women it is suitable for an extreme activities or outdoor
activities. The equipment also suitable for the extreme activity. So we can see that
Deltacs sold the product not the service. Since nowadays, it was a trend purchasing
through online store, the customers more prefer to buy thing through online because
it is easier to purchase the product without having to go to the shop. Only wait at
home the product will receive in short time. The way Deltacs creating website for the
customers to purchase the product it will make Deltacs become hits and known by
the people that prefer the extreme activities or outdoor activities.

Place is an important element in the 7ps, Placement or distribution is a very important part of
the product mix definition. You have to position and distribute the product in a place that is

accessible to potential buyers. (themarketingmix, 2016) Means place for internet marketing
must be the website. But for Deltacs the company have a website to make the customers
easy to access and find the product that to fulfil their need. Through website it is less
limitation because customers can easily find what they need, by accessing at anywhere they
want, at home, office, garden or anywhere. Since Deltacs also have store, at Taman Sungai
Besi, 57100 Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur it is easy for the customers
that nearby to visit and purchase. But using website it is worldwide, not only in Malaysia can
purchase the product.

d) Promotion
Promotion also important for a business to attract customers it can boost brand recognition
and sales. With promotion it will increasing the sales. In the website the promotion being

exposed to the customers to attract the customers to purchase the good from Deltacs which
is the outfit for the extreme and outdoor activities. Usually this product are hard to find
because not many business that sold the outfit. The promotion being show using the red
color so it is easy for customers to differentiate between price and discount, the discount
being display at every part of the product if it has the discount. Usually Deltacs will give offer
10% or 15 % for their customers. But not only discount that Deltacs give to the customers
also the gift voucher. This gift certificate will be emailed to the customers after the order has
been paid for through email. With the gift voucher it will attract the customers to purchase
more form Deltacs. One of the promotion also include in the website is Tells a Friend. Tells a
Fries almost the same like the share button on Facebook, it helps the company famous and
viral. With that it will increase customers to purchased good from Deltacs.

All companies are reliant on the people who run them from front line Sales staff to the
Managing Director. Having the right people is essential because they are as much a part of
your business offering as the products/services you are offering. (profesional academy ,
2016) Base on the internet marketing the people refer to the employees that handle the
services. Since Deltacs run the company using the website so the employees play the
important roles. Without the employees the website will be not updated. So the customers
will move to the competitor that always updated the latest information form the website.
Since Deltacs use WhatsApp and Facebook for their company means that there is an
employees that being responsible to handle it. The person in charge will replied all the
WhatsApp from the customers that ask about the product or many more. Next the person in
charge responsible to updated all the sales that Deltacs want to give to the customers with
these it will attract more customers to bought thing from Deltacs. The information will be
more trusted because the information always updated. Lastly, the employees of Deltacs will
handle the FAQ, the FAQ is an important thing for the company, and the FAQ which is
frequently ask question helps the user to get the information need. With these it will create a
good public relation with Deltacs because good respond with the customers.

Online, it is difficult for the customer to know how the product is going to benefit them. So it
will be necessary to communicate in a way that the customer will be able to feel confident in
purchasing a product or service. You can do reports and articles that will excite the
customers about the product and the service. (ram, 2012) The physical evidence is a new
element in the 7ps, the physical evidence is something that make the customers confidence
with the product. As Deltacs sold the outfit for outdoor activities and extreme activities. The
physical evidence is important for Deltacs to increase the trust from customers to purchase
product. The physical evidence will show that whether the customers satisfy or not with the
product or the service given to the customers

The delivery of your service is usually done with the customer present so how the service is
delivered is once again part of what the consumer is paying for. (themarketingmix, 2016) the
process is an important element for the website it include the order processing. The order
processing is needed to user to use to make payment. With the choice that given it will make
the customers easy to pay with method that they prefer to used. As for the order processing
for Deltacs it include 6 step which is Checkout Option, Accounts and Billing Details, Delivery
Detailed, Delivery Method, Payment method and lastly Confirm Order.

To be a successful and establish company it need to use the marketing tools or e-tool. The
techniques and materials used by those who are involved in the promotion of goods and
services. Most business that need to sell their goods or services to the public will make
extensive use of various marketing tools, such as market research and advertising to help
further their success. (business dictionary, 2016) In the marketing tools include of email
marketing, search engine marketing, word of mouth or review sites, mobile advertising,
marketing with maps and affiliate marketing.
Deltacs used e-tool for the company such as SEO also known as Search engine
optimization. SEO helps to ensure that a site is accessible to a search engine and improves
the chances that the site will be found by the search engine. SEO is typically a set of "white
hat" best practices that webmasters and Web content producers follow to help them achieve
a better ranking in search engine results. (Beal, 2016). SEO is a technique of improving
results from the natural listings. SEO happen when using the keyword then the website will
appear at the top of the search engine. Means that SEO is the steps are carried out
systematically and gradually in order to improve or get the customers from search engines
such as Google, Yahoo, MSN, Bing or else to address specific sites based on keywords
searched by utilizing the mechanism of action or the search engine algorithms.
The purpose of SEO is to put a website on the top position on a search engine based on
certain keywords. If a website or blog is the top position in the search results then have a
great opportunity to attract customers to open. Logically, as a human we only will click until 14 page then customers will not open the next pages. The advantages of SEO is it increased
the when Deltacs use the SEO, it enhance the competition toward Deltacs, it can be seen if
the position of the website is higher means automatically the competitiveness would be
higher. Next, increasing sales, it can be seen when the customers only types the tactical
product Deltacs website will be appear then the other company so it will increasing the sales
of Deltacs.
Facebook is the most popular social network all the time. Facebook's popularity rose
sharply so soon will soon reach 1 billion users. Many people out there who spend most of
their time on Facebook. Usually Facebook is used to create an account, make a
conversation, and upload video, comment. When Deltacs used Facebook as a medium of
marketing tool it will give good impact for Deltacs. Using Facebook it helps to promote
Deltacs business. With this it will increase the number of customers that will know the
information about Deltacs. The advantages of Facebook is easy to access everyone can

access easily the. It is low cost because Deltacs need to create an account without paying
anything. Lastly, where business begin Facebook is perfect for a business in online business.
It can make profit because it have the larder network. Moreover, Facebook has a huge user.
Using Facebook it is low cost because it just need to like the account, with the like the other
friend also receive the like on their timeline. So the information will be spread widely and fast.
Facebook is very easy to use compared to other social media. Facebook very minimalist look
that is easy to understand by users who recently joined Facebook. Facebook navigation tools
are also a plus point for the largest social networking.
As for the conclusion, the best marketing tools that Deltacs can used is Facebook
because the Facebook have upgrade the page for the business online as the FB Ads, the
purposed of the FB Ads is to help the target customer that Deltacs want. Whether man or
women, the age range of age, so will this it will niche the market. Deltacs will have a big
opportunities to achieve profit and promote the business worldwide. But the FB ads need to
be paid for every month so as an establish company it is not a problem to pay monthly.

The order processing is procedure begins with acceptance of the order from the customer,
and it is not considered complete until the customer has received the products and
determined that order has been delivered accurately and completely. Interactive order
processing is captures order data from customer service employees or from customers
directly, stores the data in a central database and sends order information to the accounting
and shipping departments, if applicable. Order processing systems provide tracking data on
orders and inventory for every step of the way. (ingram, 2016)

Interactive website is any website that uses plugins, features, or add-ons to allow customers
to directly interact with the website.

The different between non interactive and interactive is the interactive website have order
processing but as non-interactive website they only give the contact number and the detailed
of the company only. There is no order processing.

As we can see that Deltacs is an interactive website because the company have order
processing can make order purchase good from the website. Hence the website can do add
to cart to purchase not just one product. It have to fill the order form. It make easier for the
customers to access to the company where ever the customers from. The website also show
the clear product of the company with the price detailed, the discount for customers and
more. For the non-interactive, it have to do manually, the company only show the detailed of
the company and the way to contact the company which is by going to the factory or call
them. It hard for the customers to buy the product. The website did not show the detailed of
the price of the product. So the customers hard to calculate or budgeting the price. The
background also used the picture of Yusuf Taiyoob company so the customers hard to read
the description that they write. The best website is have the white background it easily to
read and read the information provided. But as the Deltacs, the company used clear font, can
be differentiate between heading 1 and 2.
Yusuf Taiyoob make their customers hard to contact with them only can call or email them if
there is any question regarding the product of Yusuf Taiyoob.

As for the conclusion for this task I had understand that on the online market environment by
analyzing established online commerce sites. It is important for entrepreneurs to identify the
internal and external opportunities and threat which may affect the operation of the business.
Hence, I had exposed to the operation of the online businesses.
Based on the assignment, the element of internet marketing had been explore which is Micro

techniques and materials used by those who are involved in the promotion of goods and
services. Most business that need to sell their goods or services to the public will make

further their success.
