The final year project entitledAN OPTIMAL GEARBOX DESIGN TO MINIMIZE
TRANSMISSION ERROR AND VIBRATION was successfully finished with everyone who
participated and supported us from the start to end of project.
I would like to thank my guide ASSI.PRO.RONAK D SONI who give us proper guide
and throughout completion of our project. without whose help we cant work properly.

Abstract
This report is belongs to case study which was half completed in PANCHNATH AUTO PVT.
LTD. RAJKOT, on topic of an optimal gearbox design to minimize transmission error and
vibration in Mahindra yuvraj 215.meshing of gear caused heavy vibration and noise. This
project is mainly focused on to reduce vibration and noise generated in gearbox of mini tractor.
By changing the macro geometry of gear teeth vibration and noise also be reduce. Constant
vibration may result in misalignment of shaft.
