Master of Business Administration (joint program by Hanoi

University and La Trobe University)
Course Description
The MBA offers a cutting-edge general management education with its focus on the
internationally recognised Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) and its
Personal and Professional Development (PPSD) platform. The program builds on a long tradition
of flexible delivery with two intakes per year, different delivery modes to suit different student
needs (standard, flexible and accelerated options) and teaching times in the evening, weekends,
and block modes.
Course Requirements
The MBA will comprise 12 subjects (8 core and 4 elective) each worth 15 credit points (180
credit point total) and with 36 hours face-to-face teaching per subject. Additionally there are two
Personal and Professional Development (PPSD) requirements: E-Portfolio (24 hours time
requirement) and Boardroom Simulation (24 hours time requirement). These activities are
compulsory and students must complete them to fulfil degree requirements. However, they are
not credit-bearing, assessed, nor fee-bearing. The course will also include career sessions and
