In Outlook
1) Navigate to File >> Options >> Advanced >> scroll down to the send/receive he
ading >>
click on the send/receive button on the right
2) On the right hand side of the send/receive groups window that opens click on
the Edit button
3) Un-check the "Get folder unread count for subscribed folders"
4) under Received mail items, check the option "User the custom behavior defined
below"
5) In the window below that displays your Gmail folders just select inbox and le
ave the others unchecked
6) click ok and then exit out of options
7) check task manager to make sure all instances of Outlook are closed
8) restart outlook and perform a send/receive to test if it is now working

Folder Favorite:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{323CA680-C24D-4099-B94D-446DD2D7249E}\ShellFolder
Klik 2x Attributes ,
ganti nilainya (asalnya adalah a0900100), ganti dengan nilai baru, yaitu a940010
0 untuk menyembunyikan folder Favorites
Folder Libraries:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{031E4825-7B94-4dc3-B131-E946B44C8DD5}\ShellFolder
Klik 2x Attributes ,
ganti nilainya (asalnya adalah b080010d), ganti dengan nilai baru, yaitu b090010
d untuk menyembunyikan folder Favorites
Perubahanya dpt dilihat setelah log off.
Jika ketika ingin menyimpan muncul error bahwa kita tidak diijinkan mengubah nil
ainya, ikuti langkah berikut :
Klik folder atau key ShellFolder
Dari menu Utama Registry Editor, pilih menu Edit > Permissions
Akan muncul window: Permission for ShellFolder, klik saja di bagian username: Ad
inistrator, dan dibagian bawah (permission for Administrator), beri tanda cek se
mua di kolom Allow
Setelah di cek semua di bagia Allow, klik OK untuk menyimpan
Seharusnya kita sudah bisa mengubah nilai Attributes di registry sebelumnya
