O ne of the most beneficial aspects of your college experience is an internship. Whether you are majoring in accounting,
business administration, or management, internships are an essential part of the learning process.
Participating in an internship is a great way to develop professional and personal skills necessary to move into the
competitive business world. Getting hands-on experience with actual employers allows you to apply your academic knowledge
to an organization's business operations.
What is an Internship?
An internship is a work-related learning experience for individuals who wish to develop hands on work experience in a certain
occupational field while going to school. It is a temporary working assignment that will last approximately four to six weeks. An
intern will work in a professional environment under the supervision of a practicing professional.
