It shows a ©BiI10D-1/U1 night fighter of I/NJG 3 which was formed from LG in the summer of 1941, and for a short while operated in the ~ Mediterranean theatre. Aircraft code is Ll + DH and it appears to be black overall. However, closer examination shows that the port undercarriage doors are a lighter colour as are the under surface of the port tailplane and the port fin. There is also a white tactical band around the top half only of the rear fuselage. The ow! and half moon insignia on the nose is the unit badge of I/NJG 1 (435/1016A/4)
