Lace Shawl

Cast on: 411 sts. (33 repeats 34 feathers).

k - knit stitch

Use method that stretches very well, single cast on (thumb cast on) was used for this shawl. Place markers every repeat.

Lace: Knit rows 1-28. Purl all WS rows. Work repeat between ** 33 times. At the end you will get 207 sts.

knit until slipped st, ssk slipped st with next one, k3. Turn.

Repeat rows 3-4 until 1 st remains unworked on each side.


RS row: Sl 1, *yo, k2tog (or ssk)*. Repeat between **
WS row: purl

Bind off: loosely using method you prefer, JSSBO or I-cord bind-off methods are recommended.
Finishing: weave in yarn ends. Soak shawl in water adding soap appropriate for fiber for 30 minutes.

Rinse. Wrap in towel to blot out water. Lay flat and pin into shape. Leave in place until
thoroughly dry. Trim yarn ends.
