Five years of Gods kindness

This month, we celebrate five years with YWAM! Around this time five years ago, we headed o to
YWAM Montana, for Helen to participate in the School of Biblical Studies (SBS) as a student, and for
Michael to sta SBS. We had more than an inkling that the move to Montana would be above back into
missions, but if you had asked us five years ago where we would be in 2016, YWAM Turner Valley
wouldnt have even been on the radar. But here we are, in southern Alberta, in the foothills of the Rocky
Mountains, and between the two of us we have staed SBS, directed Food Services, manage Accounts,
have led the Ministry Team, serve on the Leadership Team, and are in the process of pioneering Titus
Project. In the last five years, weve been to twelve dierent countries, taught/developed study material
for 45 books of the Bible, and been stretched in ways we never would have imagined. Weve seen Gods
provision in everything from purchasing a vehicle (four years ago), to flying around the world (earlier this
year). We are so grateful God allows us to be part of equipping believers with a knowledge of His Word,
and we are so thankful to all who have prayed for, and supported us throughout these last years.$

Whats next?!

2011-2012 - Michael joined YWAM Montanas

SBS sta, and Helen was an SBS student.

As we look ahead to the next year and on, were

excited for all the Lord has in store for us. Here
are a few of the amazing things on the horizon:$
October 2016 - Michael will be teaching
Deuteronomy in YWAM Vancouvers first SBS!$
November 2016 - Helen and Michael will
both be teaching in YWAM Turner Valleys
SBS; Michael will be teaching 1 Corinthians,
Helen will be teaching Women in Ministry.$

Summer 2012 - We moved to Turner Valley to

join SBS sta.

January 22, 2017 - We begin Titus Project at

YWAM Turner Valley! We hope to send two
teams on outreach after three weeks of training
SBS grads to be Bible teachers.

September 2016

Fall 2012-Spring 2013 - We staed our first

SBS together. We began dreaming of Titus
Project being pioneered at YWAM TV.$

February-April 2017 - We will lead a Titus

team of Bible teachers to northern Thailand!
We may also teach elsewhere in southeast Asia.$
April 13, 2017 - We will celebrate the
completion of YWAM TVs first Titus project!$
Fall 2017 - Possible Leadership Team outreach,
to scout out future ministry opportunities.$
January-April 2018 - Our second Titus
Project will run!$
June 2018 - Well celebrate 10 years of
marriage!

Summer 2013 - God provided for us to go to

Thailand and Nepal! In Thailand we ministered
to the Shan people, YWAM TVs target people
group. In Nepal, we taught on an SBS.$

As we step out in new things, and new areas of

leadership, we would love to be surrounded by
prayer. Some things you can pray for:$
1. More participants for Titus Project. We
currently have three accepted - wed love at
least two more!$

Fall 2013-Spring 2014 - We staed our

second SBS together, and made plans to do
Titus Project. Helen stepped out of SBS in June
to run the Kitchen throughout the summer.

2. The pioneering stage of this ministry.

Because Titus Project has been running for
20 years around the world, we arent starting
from scratch by any means, but we are in the
process of building Titus Project into the
culture at YWAM Turner Valley, and we are
new leaders, needing to grow!$
3. A core sta team who will want to be part of
Bible teaching year-round, on outreach and
at home.$
4. For our new SBS students to catch the vision
for Titus Project, so wed have a full program
in 2018!$
5. That Gods Word would go out to the
nations, and that He would be glorified
through Titus Project!

September 2016

Fall 2014 - We were participants in YWAM

San Diego/Bajas first ever Titus Project. We
taught the Bible in and around Tijuana, and
learned tons about pioneering Titus.$
2015 - We returned to YWAM TV to serve in the
Kitchen and Accounts/Facilities.$

One more prayer itemwere currently saving

for a new-to-us vehicle. Our 2003 Honda
Element has nearly 350,000 km on it, and while
its holding up, there is a long list of little
things that need work, and wed love to have a
more fuel ecient vehicle. Please pray for
wisdom for us in this - to know whether to fix
our current vehicle, or to more seriously pursue
a replacement. Thank you!

Winter/Spring 2016 - God provided
abundantly for us to sta Titus Project in
Ukraine, take a team on outreach to Central Asia,
and attend a Titus Project consultation in Taiwan.
This was an incredible learning experience, and so
foundational for our ministry. Helen was also
appointed to the Leadership Team in the Winter.$

Our first program starts in January 2017.
