Argentina- Neuqun Neuqun

Dear EAE School admissions committee,
With this letter, I wish to apply to the International Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Barcelona New York program in October 2016. This program is a solid step towards my future career
as a businessperson who understands and appreciates marketing, administration, technology and
engineering design.
Personal introduction
My name is Etcheverry Kevin, I am 23 years old and I have just finished my studies in Mechanical
Engineering at the National University of Comahue in the same city where I was born, Neuqun
Argentina.
At the moment I am doing two optional courses at the same university, where I am learning the
basics of oilfield processing, transportation of crude oil and phase separation. The other one is
renewable energy where the main topics are eolic, hydraulic, solar, geothermic and biomass energy.
Both of them, are a key point to my professional career, due to our local situation, were 65% of the
industry is focused oil processing and services. Also due to the low price of the oil barrel, in Argentina
there is a growing trend in using renewable energy.
I consider myself as a proficient, hardworking student with a great deal of potential. I can
communicate and motivate in a team work, and given the case, I can be exceptional leader. I am highly
confident that I can use my skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm to help businesses development and
implement sustainability initiatives.
This scholarship opportunity I perceive as an extraordinary opportunity to interact with students and
scholars from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds coming from all the World. This type of
networking is very important for integration of different ideas and perspectives to diverse global
issues.
Finally, I would like to point out that I am determined to make the most of this opportunity. I wish
to grow to be a manager who can combine the science of technology with the art of engineering. I
believe that being a student in your program would not only empower my career development, but
would give me the framework to use my full potentials. Moreover, I feel that as a Master student at
your Business School, I can benefit from the numerous challenging career opportunities.
Professional experience and educational background
As I already mentioned, I have just finished my thesis, which the main point was to develop the
manufacturing engineering of a bridge crane for an industrial warehouse. I worked for about 7 months
and 300 hours in this project. I was in contact many times with the operators and maintenance manager
in order to get information and interviews, asking what they needed.

I have studied English for about ten years, and I have two degrees: First Certificate in English,
Grade C and P.E.T. exam, Grade C.
I have also made an online course in edx.com about computer numeric control dictated by Tenaris
University.
Why this program and why at EAE Business School?
I would like to express my interest in studying at the EAE School because I will consolidate the
knowledge I had learnt in Economy and Industrial Organization. Also, gain the ability to lead a
company and understand more about management.
Since I have a quite strong academic background in mathematics, logistic and supply chain,
Microsoft Office and computer programs, makes me the right person for the program.
I selected this program because of the possibility of studying in two different countries, in a short
period. It is very interesting to live in Spain and United States meeting new people and learning more
about both cultures.
After careful overview of the master program you are offering with at your School, I believe that
International MBA fully suits my intentions, and therefore I would like to get the opportunity to attend
this program.
What do you think you can contribute to the class group and program?

global issues.
As a mechanical engineer, I think I have a very different point of view from an economy or
accountant. These, will be a very strong point by the time we make groups and start the business game
and plan, we will argue lot of topics and be proactive in order to have a great solution.
