Does God Exist?
Is there really a God?

I.

Introduction
God existence has been a big and complex argument and became a

debate for thousands of years. There were lots of article about the
existence

of

God

that

philosophers,

scientist

and

exceedingly

intelligent people made to clarify and explain profoundly all about

this topic. Science and religion have conflict about it. Both of
them has their own study, opinions and own proofs to stand and
discuss what they believed. God existence is definitely one of the
complicated topics to discourse and argue. It may take lots of time
to

study

and

find

proofs

and

facts

about

this

certain

subject

matter. Theres lots of meaning of existence in each persons point

of view but existence define as a state/condition of being alive or
being real. There are lots of studies in Science how things exist or
how

the

world

exists

based

on

scientific

theory,

method

and

principles. Religion has lots of broadly explanation how the world

and God exist; it is based and written in Bible. A lot of us
extensively accepted that science and religion do not mix because of
its own conviction. Nonetheless, both of them have an important role
in our daily lives. Like Albert Einstein said, Science without
religion is lame, religion without science is blind. Well, no one
can explain it clearly or nobody knows what he meant, if it was
indeed a legitimate quote, only Albert can clearly explain what he
intended in that statement. But as far as Ive understand, one is no
good without the other. Incompatible or compatible or possibly there
are both opposite, science and religion still having dispute in the
way of explaining the world around them and if God truly exist.

II.

Presentation and Critical Analysis of Data

Truth will always matter to us. It seems that the reality been
continually part of our life. All the experiences, thoughts and the
feelings we have is based in reality. It is hard for us to believe to
the things we cant see, touch or feel. We always wanted to have
proofs and evidence in certain things around us. As the expression To
see

to

experience

and

or

seeing

actual

sight

is
of

believing,
something

suggest

is

that

direct

authentication

for

reality, but not in all situations it is applied in our lives because

all of us believed that air exist even though we cant see it in our
own naked eye. We believed in its existence because we actually feel
it, weve been taught about it and read about air in textbooks and we
personally experienced it.
In

other

hand,

seeing/sighting

something

is

just

not

only

happening in our experiences sometimes ones been picture or see an

incurrent event in dreamlike state. In their subconscious state, but
it is not mean that conscious/awakened mind is reality because it is
what people usually associated with. It is still a big question if our
dreams are part of the reality of ones person. If the words we hear
and

the

people

we

see

from

past

or

present

in

our

dreams

has

connection in reality we are facing. If we are in our subconscious

mind, we really went in other dimension and finding the truth in our
own

reality.

Well,

even

science

cant

explain

it

clearly

and

evidently. It is remain a big question on mans mind and people still

finding the answers behind this dreamlike state weve had.
Until now, if the dreamlike state still been an immense mystery,
people

still

has

dispute

whether

they

should

believe

in

Gods

existence or it is just a mans illusion and hallucination. Believing

or

beliefs

is

the

term

usually

used

in

religion

especially

in

Christianity or any other monotheistic religion, God to them is the

creator and the ruler of all universe. But theres still lots of
people did not believe in existence of God. Who are these people? And
why

dont

believing?

they

believe

in

God?

What

was

their

reason

for

not

An atheist definitely believes that Gods existence is not real. An

infidel doesnt believe in God and doesnt want anyone else to believe
in God either.

A skeptic doubts about all accepted opinions about

God. An agnostic claims that it is impossible to know whether God

exist.
So whats their reason for not believing in Gods existence? First,
maybe some people are too stubborn not to believe in Him whether they
just believe in freedom and they dont want to obey God. Second, maybe
those people grow in a family, who didnt believe in God, they never
read Bible or attend Sunday Mass, or in other words they never learn
to do such things in their childhood from their parents. And lastly,
they see the world in evil, suffering and pain, they didnt believe in
goodness or values in life. For them God must not exist. And there are
lots

of

many

more

possible

reasons

that

those

people

dont

even

revealed

from

believe in Gods existence or any deity.

According

to

Bible,

For

the

wrath

of

God

is

heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress

the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is
evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the
creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and
divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what
has been made, so that they are without excuse(Romans 1:18-20)
It is simply and obvious that man has no excuse in his unbelief, God
made it simple that He exists from the world He had made and the
eternal and divine nature He had. Science can tell and explain the
theory theyve been study about how our Universe or our world made
based on some principles or methods; Big Bang Theory. Yes it is all
true that science can explain about this theory clearly but as it is
called

theory,

its

just

set

of

ideas

that

presented

and

suggested a possibly true but not known and proven to be true. It is

just an idea in a specific subject, it is not yet proven. Some says
that existence of God not base in any particular proofs just like
science have, it just the faith of ones person. It just takes faith
to believe in Him and accept the fact that He is truly exist. But what
if the Bible content is not all true just like atheism proof, what if

the people (Apostles) who made the content of it wrote its content
just base in their own opinion about God. We should still believe what
the Bible says?
As a Christian, we believe that God made everything in the world
except the man-made things we had seen. But do God also made the bad
things or the evil ones? Does He have a responsibility for this? Some
said that bad things happens in our world because of our sins weve
made. It is Gods responsibility and judgment what will happen to us
and what future well have. So if God really exist, where He is? We
should wait on His sons second coming or wait for the Revelation that
Bible have said? Or the concept of Gods existence is just a humancreation or possibly a hallucination? According to science, God does
exist in many studies theyve have, theyve been confirm it.
Theres lots of question come in our mind about Gods existence,
theres lots of doubts, theres lots of non-stop question and studies
about this topic. But throughout history until now, argument against
Gods existence will always live through mans mind.
III. Conclusion
Therefore, God does exist. If we base in proofs, evidence or in our
faith, it is truly confirms that God exist. Just like I believed in
air existence even though I cant see it, I know that God exist. Ive
read about God, heard about Him and felt His presence. I cannot see
His face but I can see Gods creation. I do believe in Him! And those
people who refused to believe in Him will admit that they were wrong
and in the end theyll seek Gods presence and love.
