related to the content of the course
- know how to apply this knowledge of understanding and solving problems to daily life
- properly expose scientific works
- integrate pharmaceutical chemistry knowledge with those obtained in other subjects
- develop laboratory processes
- apply laboratory techniques of organic synthesis to the preparation of drugs
- evaluate and interpret the mode of action, and synthesize drugs
- estimate the risks associated with the use of chemicals and laboratory processes
- recognize and apply the scientific method
- understand and interpret scientific papers related to the subject

Evalua]on (more details in the course guide)

15% of the mark (1,5 points out of 10) corresponds to con]nuous
assessment:
ACTIVE ATTENDANCE TO tutorials: up to 0,4 points
ACTIVE ATTENDANCE TO theory classes and seminar sessions: up to 0,5 points
teamwork with oral presenta]on: up to 0,6 points

15% of the mark (1,5 points out of 10) comes from the laboratory
prac]ce mark (it is mandatory to pass this part in order to pass the
subject aVendance to all the lab sessions and to the introductory
seminar is required)

70% of the mark (7,0 points out of 10) derives from the results
obtained in the wrieen exams corresponding to the contents
included in lectures and problem seminars
