Which of these two scenarios is most likely to convince YOU to adopt a new innovation or
product? WHY?

Q1: Which of these two recommendation scenarios is more likely to convince the average
consumer to adopt a new innovation or product?
Because peer interaction and recommendation tends to be much stronger than scientific or
technical recommendation, I believe that the scenario of your best friend tells you about a new
innovative product, and how great it is is much more likely to convince the average consumer
to adopt a new innovation or product than the scenario of a panel of scientific experts also
make a recommendation for adoption of a new innovation, based on its technical features and
characteristics
Q2: Which of these two scenarios is most likely to convince YOU to adopt a new innovation or
product? WHY?
I am in one of the average consumers, so personally, I truth my friends more than a panel of
scientific experts. There are two reasons, firstly, I know exactly what my friends interests, and
usually we have same interests, however, the experts focus on the technical features and
characteristics, they dont know using experiences. Secondly, some companies are willing to
spend money hire some scientific experts to introduce their new innovations or products,
which decrease the reputations and reliability.
