National requirements for seafarers under 18 years of age are complied, if any.
Flag state has any exemptions against the requirements of the limits of hours of work and the hours of rest as

Shipowner conducts risk evaluation in relation to the management of OSH and appropriate statistical information
from the ships and from general statistics provided by the competent authority.
On board medical care (Regulation 4.1)
Prompt access to the necessary medicine, medical equipment and facilities for diagnosis and treatment, and for
medical and occupational health protection information and expertise are provided with seafarers.
Seafarers are given the right to visit a qualified medical doctor or dentist without delay in ports of call, where
practicable.
Medical care and health protection services: Seafarers are received.
Free of charge to the seafarers on board ship or in a foreign port.
Not only limited to the treatment of sick or injured for seafarers but also include measures of a preventive
character (health promotion and education programs).

The following minimum requirements are provided for:


A medicine chest, medical equipment and medical guides, the specifics of which are prescribed by the competent
authority depending on the type of ship and the nature, destination and duration of voyages.
A doctor on board is in accordance with national laws and regulation.
In case a medical doctor is not required, at least 1 seafarer* is available on board in charge of medical care and
administering medicine as part of their regular duties, or is at least 1 seafarer who is competent to provides
medical first aid on board (*satisfactorily completed training in medical care / first aid according to STCW 1978
requirements is accepted).
Shore medical advice by radio/satellite communication is available free of charge to the ship 24 hours a day
through a prearranged system.
