on Deputation Basis for appointment in Export Inspection Council / Export Inspection Agencies having its
headquarters at Delhi, Mumbai, Kochi, Chennai and Kolkata for the posts as mentioned below in the

The prescribed educational qualifications & experience are minimum & mere possession of the same does
not entitle candidates to be called for interview. A limited number of candidates on the basis of merit &
experience will be called for interview. It will not be obligatory on the part of EIC to call all eligible
candidates for interview. Applicants should note that canvasing of candidature in any form shall be treated
as disqualification. Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria should send their application in the
prescribed proforma along with self-attested copy of educational qualification, experience, Caste, PWD,
Integrity Certificate, ACR/APAR for the last five years upto 2014-15, Administrative & Vigilance clearance
etc., through proper channel, to the Director (I&Q/C) at the address given above clearly indicating the post
applied for on the envelope. Last date for receipt of application is on or before 07.09.2016. Application
received after due date i.e 07.09.2016 will not be considered.

Important Note:1. The transfer on deputation is considered from officers holding analogues posts in Council/
Government /Semi-Government/ Autonomous Body.
2. The date of determining the age limit/ experience/ qualification shall be the closing date
prescribed for receipt of applicants i.e. 07.09.2016.
3. Age is relaxable as per Government of India rules.

5. The candidate must write his/her name as it appear in the SSC/Matriculation Certificate and in
case of any change documentary evidence should be attached.
