A. Preparation of Daily Production Reports

Collection of the production and dispatch details from all
projects.
Production and dispatch data entry.
SMS to all concerned executives.
Compilation & Generation of daily production reports for
all NMDC Projects and send to CMD, Directors and HODs
of HO.
B. Preparation of Drilling Reports
Collection of daily drilling data from Projects.
Drilling data entry and generation of drilling reports
whenever required.
C. Preparation of Board note for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Quarter
2015-16 STE/Nomination basis work awarded in the
project.
Collection of the data from all NMDC Projects w.r.t. the
work awarded on STE/Proprietary/ Nomination basis in
the Project less than and more than Rs 5 lakhs
separately.
Preparation of the work summary report of each work
awarded on STE/Nomination/Proprietary basis.
Submission of STE/Nomination/Proprietary reports to
Audit Committee.
D.Preparation of Monthly and MoU Quality Report.
Collections of data from all NMDC Iron Ore Projects.
Compilation & Generation of Monthly Quality related data
of Production & Dispatch of Iron Ore for all NMDC Iron Ore
Projects.
E. Other activities.
Any other work assigned by DGM (Geo) PC and ED (PC)
from time to time is also attended.
All the files of Geology Section are systematically arranged
for ease of retrieval.
Any information regarding production, dispatch and grade
whenever require by any other department provided.

A. Buffer zone demarcation of applied
exploration blocks in Madhya Pradesh.

PL/proposed

Associated in the Submission of revised cadastral maps

(showing buffer zone of restricted area) of 5 PL areas
applied for diamond exploration in Tikamgarh District
(M.P) to Mining Office Tikamgarh.
B. Preparation of Reports/Presentations.
Associated in the preparation of various presentation i.e.
Exploration Capabilities of NMDC, Plans for exploration by
NMDC under Sub section (1) of section (4)-MMDR-1957,
Half yearly achievements of RP Dept. etc.
Literature study & collection (soft copy) of reports of
applied areas in M.P. from GSI website.
Associated in the preparation of Standard Operating
procedure for all stages of Exploration as per UNFC guide
line (G4, G3, G2 and G1 stages) for Iron Ore, Diamond,
Manganese, Lime Stone and Gold exploration has been
prepared.
C. Preparation & plotting of Maps using Map Info & Auto
Cad Software
Plotting of Highest elevation points between the pit and
Vaishnodevi temple marked in the Panthal layout and
environmental plan. Blasting points and observation
points has been marked.
Plotting and digitization of typical cross section &
longitudinal section of Chippirian magnesite mines
Panthal. As well as Safety Zone Area Demarcation in
Environment plan of Chipprian Magnesite Deposit.
Buffer zone marking around mining lease for Lalapur Silica
Sand Project by using Map-Info.

 Preparation of cross section for current pit position in

Donimalai Iron Ore mines Deposit 2E and 2W
Geo-referencing and digitization of surface Geological plan
and ML area of Deposit-13.
Added the excel sheet showing DGPS coordinates
(Chainage of slurry pipe line) in the slurry pipe line map
(Baharanpur to Nagarnar) for NMDC Slurry pipe line Project
Bastar Forest division SOI maps and
(Kirandul to
Bahanpur) for NMDC Slurry pipe line Project, Dantewada
Forest division SOI maps.
Spherical co-ordinates of water pipe line and Madpal C.A.
taken by DGPS in WGS84 Datum and UTM Projection
readings has been marked on plan DGPS Survey for the
diversion of Forest Land (26.136 Ha.) for non-forest
purpose i.e. underground water pipe line (operational
water) from Kolan (Shabri) river near Tiriya to Nagarnar for
upcoming Integrated Steel Plant (3 MTPA).
Geo-referenced forest division SOI maps E44J13 and
E44K1 pertaining to slurry pipe line project, Bastar and
plotted Kanger National Park boundary on the composite
map of SOI Toposheets prepared by MECON.
Area demarcation for applying mining lease in existing
Geo-referenced detailed Geological map of Sadartera
Block, Machkot Toria.
On the Toposheet showing distance of Karokarampada
elephant corridor (3km x 2.5 km) from Sasangda NE Iron
Ore and Manganese block PL area (115.46 ha) of JKNMDC
Toposheet No 73 F/4 and 73 F/8, scale 1:50000 has been
prepared. Demarcation of buffer zone 10 km radius from
PL boundary has been done in the plan. Plotted elephant
corridor and calculated distance from center of corridor to
PL boundary (7.254 km).
Buffer zone demarcation and scaling of 1:15000 and
further calculated area of different blocks has been done
on the existing plan Showing the DGPS Coordinates and
the area for the diversion of forest land (75.92 Hec) for
non-forest and allied works at Donimalai complex of NMDC
Ltd.

 ML area pillar points GPS reading tables has been plotted

in the plan Proposed area for prospecting-cum-mining
lease (196 ha.) Contiguous to NMDC Kumaraswamy ML No.
1111, Bellary district Karnataka.
Superimposing and scaling of Geological plan B Block
Kumaraswamy Iron Ore Project and Geological Plan C
Block Kumaraswamy Iron Ore Project Scale 1:5000 for
upcomming Mine Auction proposed area (ML) 196 Ha.
Scaling, digitization and area calculation of Ore zone area
as per UNFC norms on the existing section M/s Deccan
Mining Syndicate Area, Kumaraswamy Range Sandur
Schist Belt Typical Geological cross section along S-9.
Associated in the Digitization of Buffer Zone of restricted
area on cadastral map of 5 applied PL areas (Jalandarpur,
Sunrai khas, Dargany kalan, Acharra & Birorakhet) for
Diamond Exploration in Tikamgarh Dist, M.P.
Associated in the Plotting of coordinates and areas of
granted ML/PL areas of other companies in the NMDC
applied areas and deleting the areas from NMDC applied
areas on Geo-referenced Toposheets. The areas are as

Preparation of map showing the area used of
infrastructure purpose on Geo-referenced Toposheets in
Donimalai for Environmental clearance.
Preparation of map showing alternate root for proposed
slurry pipe line of NISP on Geo-referenced Toposheets for
Environmental clearance.
Preparation of map showing evacuation plan and
infrastructure plan of deposit-13.
Coordinates plotting of (PL) Masabi East, ML (Bulyang
Ombe) and Siga hills RL. Plotting of geophysical line in
100m interval and calculation of the total line Km with
bearing (10, 25, and 50). As well as calculation of total
line KM for all three areas of Tanzania Gold Project.
D.Sadartara Reserve Estimation Work

 Associated in the preparation of the four Quary lease area

for Sadartara Dolomite for reapplying ML for each block
separately as per Chhattisgarh Minor Mineral Rule, 2015.

Geological map of Sadartara Block.
Cross checking of the area with the Google image and
Toposheet.
Georeferencing of Toposheet 65I/4 in WGS 84 projection.
Superimposed the ML, Toposheet 65I4/Google Earth in
WGS 84 projection to verify the Geomorphologic features.
Geo-referencing of the Sadartara Geological map after
actual North orientation in WGS 84 Projection.
Scaling of the Toposheet in 1:2000 scales for matching the
Geomorphologic features in the actual Geological plan.
