SKD61/H13 Hot Work Mould Steel

Features:
By using the technique of "vacuum degassing + electro-slag re-melting" for smelting, its purity is better than H13 steel
made by traditional methods. It has uniform and fine microstructure, in accordance with NADCA#207-2003_the standard
specification for the fine-quality H13 steel of die castings in North America. Its uniform property has reached further
consistency (with a reduced difference of temperature for long time, as well as give the better cold-heat stress properties.
Delivery condition:
Spheroidal annealing to soft annealed: 235HB;
Annealed structure meets NADCA207-2003 standards (North America Die Casting Steel).
SKD61/H13 Mould Steel of Characteristics:
H13 is general-purpose hot die steel containing chromium-molybdenum-vanadium (Cr-Mo-V) alloy with the characteristics. It
is applicable to be used in die-casting, hot extrusion and hot forging die, with advantages as follows:
With good cold-hot fatigue resistance
With high thermal strength under the high temperature of 600 C
With good fracture toughness and ductility
With good dimensional stability for heat treatment and hardenability
With good polishing performance
SKD61/H13 Hot Work Mould Steel OF Applications:
Suitable for making of aluminum, zinc and copper alloy extrusion dies, casting dies and hot shearing blades, etc;
Small silver Polish steel (scaled and cold drawn), which is an ideal material for ejection pins and sleeves;
Also suitable for manufacture of plastic molds of high productivity and long service life.
