You already have a good knowledge of the words ond phrases which frequently occur in commen topic areas. The cim of this book is to widen and deepen your knowledge. Boost Your Vocabulary 4 Introduction Boost Your Vocabulary 4 is divided into twelve topic areas, with important words and phrases listed within specific contexts. Federal Courts deal with cases against the laws of the United States as a whole or with crimes that cross state lines. Accused people found guilty in a State or County Court have the right fo eppecl fo an Appellate Court, and then a State Supreme Court. Accused people found guilty in a federal District Court have the right to appeal to o Court of Appeals. They do not have a right to be heard by the Supreme Court, which decides which cases it will hear.
