Within this Master's Degree programme, students extend their technical knowledge essential
for the optimum use of the technical means of security systems. At the same time, they learn
how to deal with critical situations in a systematic way and how to analyse possible risks - not
only on the basis of local situations and conditions, but also in a broader geo-political and
social context. Students are encouraged to be active and creative while managing technical
and general information. This is a markedly interdisciplinary programme.
Key subjects: Graduate Master's degree Security Technologies, Systems and Management is an
expert in technical, managerial, supervisory and other functions in the private security
services in dealing with the protection of persons and property, with an emphasis on the
application of modern information technology. Interdisciplinary study, giving graduates the
assumptions applied in mechanical, electrical, information-technology, legal and safety,
psychological, and staffing. They have the opportunity to work in firms dealing with
production, design, installation and operation of security equipment, while respecting the
legal aspects of its deployment. Due to the incorporation of emergency management, it is
possible for graduates in public administration. Graduates should monitor industry trends in
the context of world events and a creative way to transfer them to local conditions in the
innovation strategy of firms.
