Assessment of Course Outcomes through student performance in the course against Pre-set Targets by the teacher

The course was designed to achieve Program Outcome (a) and outcome (c) through pre-defined Performance
Indicators and targets of student achievement
Results of Student Performance for Outcome (a) is as follows:

Teachers assessment of tests

BITM ME

Page 33

The student performance in Indicators (1) and (2) falls short of the target set by me while indicator 3 was met its
target.
I think we need to add additional content and spend more time on mathematical models, principles and their
applications.
To improve student performance in indicators (1) and (2), I propose to spend more time on explanations through more
examples, add more assignments related to mathematical models and their application through real life examples and
encourage more group activities so that students help each other.
